Pet sorcs along with Nightblades in vet runs were and still are typically the "Fake Healer"or "Hybrid Healer" when you see people mention running vet dungeons with 4 dps or 1 tank and 3 dps. Then you have some groups that are all stam just sharing vigor. Grats on learning about it though matriarch saves lives.
healer works well as dungeon healer because the matriarch and can still do decent damage.Veinblood1965 wrote: »Donnasnowheart_ESO wrote: »In all honesty you most likely see little posts because its a super known fact already, the tormentor morph barely does enough extra damage to justify taking over matriarch for anything even pvp where the tormentor would potentially have the best uptime because of bouncing hp bars. Thanks I don't think I'd like to queue up with healer with dual pets though I'm pretty sure I could heal some Vets but not all. I've pretty much had to do it when the healer leaves or dies and it does work but it's a poor substitute for an entire run. I should have just made a healer character this time around but ESO does have hybrids like this which is nice.

Still as an real healer you want an resto staff, its an nice thing to have in inventory even if not grouping as healer.
And healers are suposed to help with damage in dungeons. How much depend on content and group.

I hadn't thought about having a resto staff with me, so the resto stats etc also apply to the pet heals? I just assumed they applied to spells directly cast by the healer to the receiver.
