I see more and more people complaining about champion points and wanting them to get removed because they make the game too easy, now imo instead of a really dumb "fix" like removing CP, which will make much of the vet content impossible for experienced/inexperienced and good/bad players alike (you really think you can beat any of the vet HM dlc dungeons or trials without any CP?), a much better solution would be to add a new difficulty for both dungeons and trials that would be optimized for something like CP 750, call it extreme mode or whatever. Now if they do that then i know they would have to change some things that exist in the current vet content now like the hardmode that we have for example, imo they would have to remove the concept of HM completely and just make current HM part of the new "extreme mode" but make it even harder accordingly. Now obviously what im proposing is really complicated to implement especially because of the achievements tied to all of this that exist now and will require a whole lot of work from ZOS and this will probably never happen, but i think this is the best and only solution to the problem of everything becoming too easy once you reach max CP and will satisfy both the more casual players and the hardcore players alike, well unless the casuals start complaining that they cant clear the new "extreme mode" content, well they would just need to understand that it's literally not for them.
This would also fix the need for ZOS to keep nerfing us every patch because now the CP's that we have would actually be needed.
