Cats have flexiblity, with their tails, I think they would make the best acrobats. While Bosmer, are smaller so they can blend in hide a lot easier. Bosmer should have Stealthy, Decreased Detection. And Khajiits should have Decreased fall damage taken by 10% Along with the new speed increases bosmer might be getting. Khajiits should be the acrobats, and Bosmer should be the Cutpurse thieves as Thievery is a big thing among Bosmer Culture. Also Khajiit should get Stealth Detection. Why? Because Khajiit like cats would have very good senses, they would be able to sniff out people hiding anywhere near them. Bosmer do not have this. So one thing that has bothered me is the total switch around with the two races of what their passives should be. For a while I have felt they have gotten the two races wrong. Bosmer should have bonus to pickpocketing and stealth as they would have a much easier time at not being spotted and Khajiit at least the type that is playable in the game should have Agility,Acrobatics and Athletics.
Though Khajiit can be thieves and Drug Runners. There culture is not about making skooma or sneaking but living the path of the moons. They are also very cat like, I've seen how impressive my own cats have been able to jump and for their senses cats have very good sense of smell one can even find the Qtips hidden under my covers that is how good a khajiit sense of smell might be. I do think they need to be switched around. Bosmer should have bonus to Pickpocket, and Khajiit should have decrease in fall damage. Khajiit should get the stealth detection and Bosmer the decreased chance of detection. How can Bosmer be able to sense people that are sneaking up on them as good as a khajiit?
What are your thoughts? There is some information about cat senses that I linked below as well as some copy pasted text from there that would be a big thing in stealth detection that the bosmer just does not have.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_senses
A domestic cat's sense of smell is about fourteen times as strong as humans'.[dubious – discuss][15] Cats have twice as many receptors[16] in the olfactory epithelium (i.e. smell-sensitive cells in their noses) as people do, meaning that cats have a more acute sense of smell than humans. In fact cats have 200 million odor-sensitive cells in their noses where as humans only have 5 million odor-sensitive cells.
Whiskers also aid in hunting. High speed photography reveals that when a cat is unable to see its prey because it is too close to its mouth, its whiskers move so as to form a basket shape around its muzzle in order to precisely detect the prey's location.
