I will say this, remove vert prog and I will remove myself from ESO. I have spent a ton of money on this game but will drop it in a heartbeat. I am pretty sure I am far from the only one who feels this way.

so as you have achieved everything then ofc as not only all acheivement points you should have but also you should have atleast cap cp...but as you have done everything thenw ith it your cp lvl should be 1k+ at all so still what is point of raisin cap cp by only 30 points for single dlc/chapter while you already have leveld it for much much more than enough?

then they should implement some other features to have something like vertical progression. Otherwise many players will quit.

The game has far more to offer than progression in levels. Just sayin.

You could use a character class change token to switch up your main and try to get some achievements that you struggled to get being a dps/tank/heals main. Oh wait, no such, thing. Move along.

What exactly would that be? The majority play a fantasy MMORPG to be the hero, to grow and become powerful. If I wanted to read a book I will buy a book.

It is beyond silly to pay 15 dollars a month and buy crown items for a glorified novel which is what any MMORPG becomes when you remove progression, vertical progression is the most significant.

But you'll be progressing horizontally. Who doesn't want that?

Telling you all now, this is a death knell for the game.

PvP is the true end game so I ask you this:

if you still haven't achieved those then you should stop complaining tbh

Well.... I play MMOs (as well as SPMR games) for that "glorified novel". And I have the money to do so. My experience in this situation is far more important to me (as a long time RP gamer - since the pen and paper games in the mid-70s) than your need to progress to ever higher levels.

However, I do have to say that I really prefer the WoW and RIFT version of progression, which is higher levels rather than some totally abstruse thing like CP. I can always get my mind around levels. So far, CP is leaving me saying "LOLWUT???"

Power creep is a real thing, it is also a life thing.

Power creep needs to occur in a healthy game, the issue really is how much, not that it exists. The trick is to keep vert prog and minimize power creep WHILE at the same time allowing older content to become trivial to the player that has progressed.

Basically you mimick life without the hassles or lifetime effort required to master a skill. That is what makes a game fun for most and continually engaging.

CP should be all around removed or reworked

It's very easy to level CP at all , at least I will have something to improve every DLC or Chapter .

It's also related with build diversity , I could invest more CP into resistance or critical chance , etc
So I could have other set choices .

Why don't like CP ? I have no idea .

    Both actually, but obvious.

Curious, what is the trend on what skills need re-worked?

Of course you miss the obvious, the most skilled players will have the most CP, there is a relationship. Also CP does in fact make you stronger otherwise no one would be making such a fuss about it, there would be no power creep if what you said was true.

The number of high skilled players with no CP is very small indeed so what exactly is your point?

Well when i was at 400 CP i already beat many 800+ CP players in duel. So no, not every 800+CP player is automaticly skilled. But i need both kind of progression. I need individual skill and character progression

Am I the only one that doesn't need to "get more powerful"? I just want to achieve new things (dungeons, arenas, quests), doesn't mean I have to be more powerful. So this is good news for me, the new players have more time to catch up to us.

Most players now have 1000+ Cp so a increase will just keep unbalancing without progression since everyone is far above the increase.

Yes :) Please note I keep referring to vert prog and not CP specifically. I am not vested in CP. I do not care how vert prog works. I am just defending the need for some system that does work.

I think they should implement something like upgrading weapons and gear (Axe +1,+2,+3.. for example ) without the chance to destroy the item when failed. Let the players to go into dungeon or BG, Cyrodil to earn the materials to plus their Items. I always like that plussing systems from other MMorpg. I just started to hate it when greedy devs threw those needed materials into the item shop and the games went pay 2 win.

You could have the best CP setup in the world and the best build in the world but if you don't know how to use any of it none of it matters and a cp300 player that knows what they are doing can easily destroy you.
