Will you need the new chapter to be a necromancer?

After the disappointment that was summerset and the jewelry crafting, I said I would not buy another chapter. Got all excited about elswyre not realizing it was going to be a chapter. Oh well.

Most likely, for the first year or so at least.

Then, like warden and (probably) eventually jewelry crafting, it'll get moved base-game or individual purchase.

They said in the stream show after the announcement show that you will need to buy Elsewhere to get the necromancer class.

So far they’ve not released anything in this game that was a must have, imo, aside from transmutation. The Warden class, while really strong, is not necessary to have and this is something I thank ZOS for. They’ve kept the game very accessible and fair even for people who can’t afford ESO+ or all the chapters. I foresee the same outcome for the Necro class. It’s gonna be strong no doubt amen likely with some serious balance issue but they’ll get toned down.

As with the Battlegrounds, Jewelry Crafting is likely to be moved to the base game. In june.

Based on cost of crowns to buy the class in a year if it is added to the crown store it probably makes just as much sense to buy the upgrade option for the chapter now if you want to play the class
