I'm not. I actually PRAY that it NEVER EVER happens.
If they can't fix a server's performance, how on earth are they expected to create a spell-crafting system that is effective, bug-free and integrates seamlessly with current systems and has little to no effect on balance?
Exactly...
I like more options, not less. I'll never understand why people prefer the devs spoon-feed them cookie-cutter classes instead of a real system that let's them experiment and build their own character.
Why does everyone want this all the time? I don't get it, you barely have smooth working combat as it is lol.
Also, why is everyone expecting it so much? There's like nothing specifically pointing towards spellcrafting at all, other than some random tablet with a very likely reused asset from 2014.
Not that I don't like the idea of it, it sounds fantastic. I just don't think it should be now and I don't think it will.
I don't like stamina morphs of spells in general. Weapon skill line has enough (if not only except restro/destro staff) stamina morphs."The green Fatigue bar on the HUD display indicates your character's rested status. A character's fatigue indicator will decrease when they perform exercises such as running, jumping, or attacking, indicating roughly how tired they are."
Because all Elder Scrolls games have Spellcrafting. I'd love to see this game mature into being a real Elder Scrolls game one day.
If they actually addressed and fixed all bugs with current skill lines and skills and balanced better I would be down for spell crafting but tbh spell crafting will just add more calculations and reduce game performance further.Seraphayel wrote: »We NEED something that ups the gameplay. All the skill lines and classes feel boring after 5 years. This game needs additional mechanics when it comes to skills and combat, it really does. It's my main gripe with the game.
And no, just new skill lines won't fix combat.

That's not really how programming/math work in relation to performance. If there is a concern with introducing new mechanics it would be the risk of introducing gamebreaking bugs. But that is always a risk. And you don't discover new land without losing sight of the shore...
