We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

1 maintenance per month.

They should do their maintenance once a month.
Not every week. Its not getting any better every week of maintenance.
Make it a 24 hour maintenance if you want.
But make it once a month only.

    Lol. I'm curious what they actually do, because nothing ever seems to get improved. They need to do the maintenance earlier though. Like 2am-8am.

    At the Moment, they have only every 2 weeks Maintenance anyway. why so long today? Well, that is everybodies Guess. We will see tonight(my Time) or rather this afternoon what ZOS has planned for the Year ahead.

    Nah just move it out of Australian prime time so all of us 100 Aussies that play the game aren't inconvenienced and miss out on daily rewards because we don't want to stay up until 1am on a Monday night. Especially if we play sport on a Monday night. Life is tough.

    Yeah, especially the stuck in combat bug, sprint bug, stuck in render tears bug, potions not going off when you press the button bug...oh wait...Those have been around for months and still not fixed through numerous maintenance days.

    I guess the better question is whether we should get bug fixes more than once per month.

    I actually do notice a general performance increase after maint especially in PvP. I mean honestly you can’t stay off the game for 4-6 hours a week? It hits me right on my prime time and it’s not a big deal.

    Western game from a western developer with servers located in the west that is playable internationally.

    If I lived in the west and played an eastern MMO and had to endure maintenance during my prime time, I would say to myself “that’s what I get for playing an eastern MMO”.

    I think they reset the servers which supposedly helps with lag in Cyro... No sure about that though... ;)

    Performance gets noticeably worse when they skip maintenance for a few weeks. That's when we start seeing NPC pathing get screwy in towns, dungeons/trials and in cyrodiil and they start stuttering and porting around. Lag gets worse, framerate gets more unstable, and disconnects become more frequent in both PvP and pve. We've seen it time and time again.

    I would take maintenance once a day as long as it included a bug patch that fixes something.

    I agree and everyone who plays eso should only restart their computers and malware/virus scan/update once a month.
