Any more word on hiding more armor pieces via outfit system?

Some time ago (I couldn't find the exact quote, sorry) @ZOS_JessicaFolsom mentioned that ZOS was working on the ability to hide armor items in addition to the helmet via the outfit system and intimated that it would be getting implemented sooner rather than later.

Do we have any updates on this? Is this something being considered for this year's E3 (ESO Elsweyr Expansion)?

I haven't heard any whispers of this, and wanted to make sure it wasn't forgotten.

Definitely want this, so I can hide shoulders, belt buckles and/or hip guards on some costumes and armour pieces.

Enormous shoulders, belt buckles that hover several inches in front of your char's stomach and overly bulky hip guards make some, otherwise very nice, items totally unwearable.

The functionality was available in their developer build as early as January last year (we could see it on ESO Live). At the very least, give us the option to hide shoulders.

It wouldn't surprise me if the only thing holding it up is the decision on pricing the "empty" option in the outfit system. After all, you pay gold for the other replacements, so it should cost to do so, but I can see uproar over paying for "nothing".

And tabards might also be a holdup, if they're trying to add that request in. They work a different way from the equipment slots, so a system that does nothing about tabards would be simpler (and may already exist in the development systems).

Helmets are also a bit different, in that you can remove the headgear from a costume, and Hats are a separate store item. So it's quite possible that hiding another slot can't simply use the same logic as hide helmet. But hopefully, untangling that will also lead to having costume parts in every slot at some future date.

You could have an invisible model. One of the Orc belts don't show up so its in practice an hide belt.
Just put this models up with hide helmet.

I think she merely stated that the developers are looking into adding additional hidden armor slots. I don't think there's any guarantee that more hidden armor slot options are something that will ever happen.

Hopefully they might do this someday, but I'm just not holding my breath for it.

Found the exact quote, and I guess my optimistic memory had recalled a more convincing statement from her that these changes were actually planned. As it was, she merely stated they are aware of the requests and have hopes of maybe implementing it at some point.

Apparently it's more distant future than near future. Regardless it doesn't look or sound like it's something to expect any time soon, even though it's something that appears to already be at least partly implemented on the dev servers.

Hopefully the ability to hide more slots eventually comes, though.
