I typically make around 1mill a week, but I don’t really put much effort into it as I have a lot of gold already.

No trade guilds here. I do max level crafting writs on 5 characters and make 25k a day, and with a couple add ons and a bit of preparation every month or two, it takes me 3 minutes per character. I do them every day, and that’s more than enough gold for me.

The people who make millions in trade guilds do it by playing the market rather than the game as a whole, and I find that so incredibly boring.

The top record in one of my trading guilds is 50.1m sold in one week. Most of the top sellers make like 3m a week, but typically majority of sellers make a couple hundred thousand in the trade guilds I'm in. The location of the guild trader matters a lot. If you look at master merchant you'll notice they sell a whole lot of crafting materials and in demand item sets. You used to be able to make a lot on motifs as well, but with all the zos events dropping motifs for people the motifs have lost a lot of value.

The top seller in my trade guild usually makes about 2-3 million. I’m happy to make 100 -200 k selling militant ordinator motifs plus whatever else drops.

I can’t be bothered farming and the gold I make is more than enough - I’ve always got flowers for pots, I can buy furniture or gear whenever and my crafter knows all motifs.

When I was trying to make gold, I would make 1 million gold a week. Granted, that was 2 years ago now when mats were actually worth something. I could still make that amount, but with considerably more time investment. This was all from farming.

If you get into flipping, you can easily make 10+ million a week, but it takes considerable time and effort to set yourself up for that (you need to be sitting in zone chat all day jumping on people selling underpriced mats/motifs; eventually you can find long term "suppliers" to sell you stacks of underpriced goods on a regular basis).

I would pay you 10k not to sell you momma. for real though, my highest week in 1 trade guild was like 3.5 million. many 1mil+ weeks. typically 600k+

Sounds like a lot of commitment to make those big numbers. Only makes sense though. More work more gold. I try to be smart about what I sell as I play and call it good.

However, if I find myself needing a crap ton of cash I will farm mats hard. Clearly it works.

All raw mats sell well BUT it takes some time to farm those mats and your character might not be at CP160 to harvest CP160 mats, the ones which most players want. Quicker method, complete the daily crafting writs for all your characters. If you are doing at least 5 alts, you should get at else one crafting mats survey and you can sell those raw mats and any refine mats you got for completing the daily.

I only have low to mid level trading guilds in out of the way locations and I still make about 30K a week.

Mostly from selling mats from my daily writs since I don't have a craft bag and I need to get rid of the mats for space.

Also any purple rings I pick up from other dailies.

I can make up to 1/2 million a week if I have nothing else to do but farm. It pays the bills.
