So ive been doing some thinking about aquiring AP during midyear mayhem. This is not for leaderboards or achieving Emporer or winning the campaign at the end of the month but strictly aquiring AP by numbers and thats it. So to get to the point i have noticed that i gain AP at a faster rate via Battlegrounds than by Cyrodil. With battle grounds during midyear mayhem i get anywear from 22-27AP per match. Very rarely have i gotten under 20 since the midyear mayhem encore event started. Each match last no more than 15min and you are getting around 100k plus an hour on the low end. Depending how fast the matches are completed and how long it takes to que up it could be more... a lot more. In cyrodil it seems to be more up to chance. I logged on my main character which is an AD character and AD was getting bush-whacked(i understand some people play other factions, and some factions have better players than others sometimes so don’t jump all over me for playing AD, it all depends who is on at the time for that particular favtion), so i wasnt earning much AP for the event. It took about a half hour to get around 40k. But the thing is i can get more than 4 matches in half an hour sometimes and that makes it seem like my time in cyrodil isnt worth it when we are talking strictly numbers. What do you guys think? To gain more AP should one stick to battlegrounds or Cyrodil.
