What makes sense is for those who suffer these problems (and not everyone does) to keep them uppermost in the developers' minds by keeping an active thread on the front page, and regularly PM'ing both the community staff and developers requesting an update on any investigations/fixes, as well as engaging in detailed discussions about the problems on the appropriate technical support forums. Engage with the community ambassadors and class reps, along with anyone else who has direct contact with the developers. Above all, stay constructive because no-one at ZOS will take the slightest notice of non-constructive dialogue.
What doesn't make sense is hacking off fellow players and moderators, all of whose support you rely on in one way or another, by mass necroing threads on the General Discussion board that are only going to get put out of the developers' sight, probably with forum-posting consequences for those responsible.

Ive messaged a few mods over things maybe 5 or 6 times, naming nothing imparticular, you want to know how many replies i recieved, it was 1, 1 reply of half a dozen messages.
The policy for staff on this forum is.Under no circumstances should our staff communicate in anyway shape or form, apart from the canned copy & paste replies we provide you, with the community.

Well my point was really about keeping the issue in their mind, so whether they reply or not doesn't affect the fact that you're letting them know the issue is still very much alive. I've PM'd mods a few times in response to notifications from them about threads I've contributed to being modded but they weren't things I'd expect a reply to. Gina, on the other hand, replied instantly to an account problem I raised with her and resolved it on the spot. Miracles can happen!

If you are on windows, go to your task manager. Disable a process called "Gamebar presence writer". Do this every single time you start the game and it will reduce loading times, and even improve FPS. This is a program integrated in windows 10 which continuously tanks performance in games. If you don't believe me, there is plenty of research on it you can google.
I immediately had better performance upon doing this.

Issue reporting the best way to do it is in game bug reports or posts in the bug sections, this is because those are seen directly by the teams who track and fix the bugs.Sanctuary_Reaper wrote: »regularly PM'ing both the community staff and developers requesting an update on any investigations/fixes,

Fair enough, but of course mods aren't involved in anything beyond keeping the forum neat and tidy anyway, hence my suggesting players PM community staff (e.g. Gina and Jessica) and developers. You generalised it by referring to policy for "our staff" being not to communicate, and clearly that isn't the case with e.g. Gina and Jessica who do communicate a lot, although I do admit that the promise to produce a new approach to communication has gone precisely nowhere as yet! An update is sorely needed in that respect. Any thoughts on that from your perspective please, Turelus ?

Having one thread where everyone can keep posting information (and bumping) generally is easier for the ZOS staff to read if they do want a review it.
You could try to PM staff on the forums but I don't know if that's effective, I know it has been when I've reported exploits but normally bugs and issues I use the normal means.
Right, sorry. No update or info on that I'm afraid, I know as much as everyone else.Issue reporting the best way to do it is in game bug reports or posts in the bug sections, this is because those are seen directly by the teams who track and fix the bugs.Sanctuary_Reaper wrote: »regularly PM'ing both the community staff and developers requesting an update on any investigations/fixes,

Thanks, but I had in mind more the question of an update on the supposed improvement in communications that ZOS_GinaBruno referred to towards the end of last year - do you have any info on when that might be forthcoming? It's supposed to be something they're working on but it doesn't appear that anything has happened as yet.
