Not sure if anyone who uses magic characters in vet or trials settings uses poisons tbh. I mean you could for fun. Especially since Infused Enchant is very strong this time around and using poisons would make Infused obsolete.

Yeah. Its really weird zos would want a stamina consumable to proc spell damage boost.

I just dont get how a build could be designed for this...

While i know this is a PvE question. I do find that the set is useful in pvp with assassin's guile. But if infused was worse than it is at the moment i would say it would be seen in pve.

I did test it on a dps when it came out, and it just doesn’t hold a candle to Burning Spellweave or other spell damage sets. It only had a 25% up time, and getting the poisons to proc is a pain. You can realistically use em on yor backbar with blockade, but you lose a big chunk of dps from not using the gylph. There’s only a couple poisons that magicka dps could use well in pve, but they use expensive materials like cornflower. To be frank, it’s not that great for pve.

Well, uptime is ~ 50% since it procs on destruction dots.
Also you receive bonus damage or crit chance from other trait then infused.

Poison wise there is not much room to choose, cause templar and sorc are almost always in group, so you are stucked at ravage health + gradual ravage health. Just tested on my magNB - dps from magicka absorb was 1400 and dps from all poison effects 1200, so dps loss from lack of enchantment is minimal (and you get other bonus from trait!), but you lose a lot of sustain.
Test was on 9k mag penetration and zero stam penetration, if ele drain is applied damage from absorb will be more, but in real conditions tank will apply debuff to both resistances..

From farming side I doubt that MHK is easier to farm then CoA :) though i somehow got both inferno and lightning in dozen of pug runs so now working on them..

So if you occasionally get staff from MHK but you don't have BSW then it worth a shot if you are not low on money (you'll need ton of nightshade)
