I thought nobody used it anymore? I mean ... unless the opponent lags there are no chance to land this against a decent player

2h are mainly to kill potatoes

There are 3 reasons people use DW :

master daggers, spin to win, 2h is not even close to DW perf and mainly inefficient against decent player (which is usually what pvpers like to fight, well at least the ones i play with)

i have an average of 350 ms during normal fight and dizzying swing is not an option

Half the problems listed here are problems for almost ANY skill at close range. This is true of both melee and ranged, even instant cast skills.

ZOS needs to fix close range combat!

Dizziying swing is much worst than others though

Almost impossible to use against a decent player

Just give it up move to DW then everybody can see "Dawnbreaker of Steel Tornado" in their recaps.

I dislike how my dizzying swing feel very weak in cp pvp with everyone running tanky builds. if it ignores a percentage of resistances id consider running it there.

@Aliyavana that's actually a stellar idea and makes a lot of sense.

The issue with Dizzying isn't its damage. It scales nearly as high as the initial hit of a DBoS; that's plenty of damage.

Its problem is low reliability. It's been suggested a million times—just change Wrecking, the morph that nearly nobody uses, into an instant-cast.

Dropping the tooltip to 70% 60% would equalise it with Low Slash, Flying Blade, and Force Pulse. All very standard instacast spammables.

Leaving the empower would also be fair, since the abovementioned spammables all have secondary effects attached.

    EDIT: I meant 60%, not 70

When you have the option of bleeds, ignoring resist with a maul, and 2H ultimate already does so? Yeah no.

I agree, these are all factors to consider.

Instant abilities have an advantage tho and atleast have a likely chance to land, dizzying is low in comparison

I agree with this. I used to really enjoy my 2h/bow stam sorc. But now it’s only logical to run dual wield.. I think they should just reduce the cast cast by half (.5 seconds).
I remember all to often having the skill just wind back and never fire because the opponent stepped to close or to the side.
Another frustrating thing is that when the skill is winding back, you are just stuck in the animation until it goes or misfires, not being able to heal or anything. Very frustrating in a fast pased BG match

But then the problem isn’t solved. If they only made that instant cast change to wrecking blow then you will move to WB with no cc..which is just as bad. They need to keep the effects of both skills but remove the cast time. WB has an empowered effect with no cc , and DS has a CC but no empowerment. Each has a strong effect but you have a trade off
