The event gives me a lot of fun and I quite enjoy it
Last night was everything I hoped Midyear would be the first time I did Midyear. I got into Vivec Cyrodill after a relatively short queue. Didn’t dc once. Only got stuck running in place once.
I played after midnight est till about 6am and it was fun. I just did what I’d normally do in the campaign I’d do it in so I was pleased.
I wrote a thread about nobody wanting a Midyear encore but I must say I was actually pleasantly surprised.
Only thing I’d gripe about was randomly being stuck in combat. I disengaged from this long fight against a huge DC Zerg, kited and slipped away. Everytime I passed a wolf or something I’d end up in combat. Oft times I never even saw the wolf or whatever. Had to walk from Alswell to KC. Lol.
Last summer during the event my tank ran heavy sloads. 97 killing blows in bgs and over 1M ap (5 killing blows) in Vivec. Went from rank 6 to rank 10 during the event.
The event gives me bad time(lags, disconnection, zerg, etc. please specify)
Having a lot worse delay with animations rendering or not firing, Cyrodiil performance on Malacath is ok but I also didn’t venture into much group play.
Me and my gf just got on our mains and grabbed our scout and resource captures and did some town dailies before going off one Red one Yellow into DC territory for our quests.
Edit: I’ll still be going back for more AP though, because clearly I hate myself

For the people just doing the event all they will experience is a long wait time for Cyro, for the people that PvP it will add another layer of frustration.
Personally I used to play Cyro a lot but rarely go there now because it is no longer fun.

Doing what i voted for.
History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.

Pugs are pugs, joined an zerg on my stamblade, nice but we had just one healer who was less than skilled and ran into lots of fights and heavy sieges who we wiped on. Switched to templar healer, new pug zerg, half of group was healers and mostly did PvDoor
I'm a loner who likes PVE and had never stepped foot in Cyrodiil until this event. I could had skipped it if I wanted as I had enough tickets to get my first berry. I decided to try nonetheless.
I chose the less populated campaign I could find, thanks to many helpful posts in this forum, made peace with the fact that I was going to die a lot and jumped in.
After having a terrible time figuring out how to finish the tutorial quests, I picked up a scouting mission and off I went. Took me less than 5 mins to ride there and back to headquarters. No deaths.
I didn't have to wait for a queue, didn't have to wait to pick up quests, didn't have to spend more than 5 mins in there each day. I'm tempted to try different things and experience the real PVP, but I'm not very social and am afraid to make life worse for those who group with me. I see now why those who like PVP enjoy it so much.

I have been playing in Malacath and Boethiah and its been great. No long queues, no long load screens or disconnects only some occasional mild lag. Wish Cyrodiil was like this all the time.

I like the events, but one after the other seems a bit too much.
PvP event is my 2nd fav (1st is Halloween one) but only thing I don’t like is the IC boss achievement, is you solo them, some people do like to gank you and run off, don’t mind if they kill me and kill the boss (still get the kill if land a hit) but to kill someone then just to roll away......not cool....not cool....*tuts*
I just do whatever to get the daily ticket and move on to other things
I don't PvP but have been doing one daily in Bruma to get my tickets when it is under my alliance's control. This means I might have to port in and out a couple of times but it really doesn't take long to do either. I was killed once but that was my own fault for not paying attention to which direction I was going and ended up stumbling into a 1 on 1 fight. I got even with the enemy anyway as I never carry Tel Var Stones. Just need two more days to refill the tickets then I'll quit.

It's seriously like a whole new game. I even crept about in Imperial City (and met the Drake of Blades, planted the AD flag and immediately was killed by a bunch of EP players coming through. It was funny). Having a great time.

The event is (so far) suprisingly fun. I mostly PvP with friends in the newly added campaigns for the event (either cp or no-cp) and its by far less laggy than usual and we still manage to get some good fights most of the time.
The event kinda makes me wish it would always be like that x)

Well, I do not like PvP and I do not like PvPeeps. That being said I have had no issues with the event itself. I have not tried to get into what is supposed to be my home, Vivec. Instead I joined a lesser populated 7 day one. I have had no tech issues. No long loading times or waits. Got killed a half dozen times but have gotten my tix each day. Farming nodes seem to give more than in Tamriel. The boon boxes have by and large sucked but I suppose that could be just bad RNG luck. Have enough points to buy a motif or 2 that I need. The real downside is that I and the game now feel . . . tainted somehow. My enjoyment of the PvE game and of the entire franchise has been somewhat nerfed. That isn't worth all of the motifs in the world.

What do i think of the pvp event? Well not sure because i can't get to do much pvp due to 3 hour + cyrodiil queues and bg's that crash or dont find a full team.
