I am a straight PvE'er, and I'm not wild about any of the indrik evolutions, or the indrik in general. In fact of the four evolutions, dawnwood is probably at the bottom of my list. I could probably choose more easily with the 360 degree rotating views, but a static picture doesn't quite do them justice. I have tickets to get my first berry, so I just need to decide before the start of the next event, which evolution to get.

So, as to the Midyear event itself, since i'm interested in neither PvP nor tickets, I'm only doing Battlegrounds with the double AP to level the alliance skill trees to level 7 in order to unlock the spells. I don't even need to go further for the passives, because they don't offer any benefit to PvE. A side benefit is the occasional goodie or two from the pelinal boxes and extra BG rewards, like motifs or transmute crystals. I already had all spells unlocked on my first 10 characters from the last event in the summer, and the rest were at least level 5 or 6 going into yesterday. I finished 2 more last evening, so I just have my last three characters to get from level 5+ to 7, by using BG's, and then I'll be on my merry way.

Your vote is contrary to your comment. A few hours a night is hardly avoiding the event....

Avoiding the event would be just not doing any pvp at all during the event.

I logged in tonight, by myself, solo, picked up a "scout" mission. Straight forward enough.
Found a dolmen on the way, started to take it down. WARNING - dolmens are a magnet to other players so if you are blue in a red zone you might expect to be attacked... just saying. Does not stop me. Just a warning.
Anyway a **huge** group of fellow blues arrived and we took down the dolmen in no time. I then followed them and we took down two forts. Huge amount of fun.
After that I went and did my scouting mission, got killed, handed in my report, got my reward.

If I had not got together with the group? I would have taken down the dolmen then run the scouting mission and still got my reward.

Thanks for that, I'm willing to try it but it's still a no. I never had any experience with pvp. I have a bad build so I'll just save myself from embarrassment.

Still need 10 boxes, but got remaining 30 kills for achievement today in BG.
Impressions are good overall. When other groups were pugs as well it was fun. When the opponent group was premade it was... well ...not as fun xD

I'll mess around in Cyro more, but I don't think I'll invest much time into PvP activities after the event. They are ok to try from time to time, but on the regular basis I think they will become too repetitive for me.

My experience isn't very good.

I had a queue of 244, it took over and hour of waiting, then finally it was ready I accepted and then it reset, now I'm currently 284. So I waited over and hour to get the pleasure of waiting longer. When I played yesterday is was very laggy too, mostly unplayable. I will try a different campaign and hope it's better.

Decided to join the queue for vivec, just to see how large the queue is. At a guess, in another hour or two, I'll be able to enter the campaign

Finally got in. SSDD. Help capture three resources, no AP awarded.

Surprisingly the lag is not bad, considering the campaign is full. Couldn't use any skills or swap weapons at one stage (yes, I was alive).

I haven't had a single working Battle Ground match so far. The fights won't start and the players quit after a while. Cyro que is too long for me. So I haven't got a chance to participate in the event yet...

Yesturday I had only 1 disconnect. The only issue im having is skill lag.

Worst event ever i am ready to quit this pile of crap game, forcing me to pvp for tickets. The worst is the killing blow this tells me eso dose not think we need healers for this game and the BGs are just trash.

Was only able to log into my home campaign once. Got disconnected after 1hr, kicked out of Cyrodiil, and faced a 300+ queue. Par for the course. *shrug* My alts have set their home campaign to Shor, and I’ll just be running BGs on my main.

It's not without its problems, of course. But I played around a bit last night on two different factions and enjoyed myself.
