We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

Why bother having events if you're not prepared for them?

Check your currency tab, they did mention there was a UI issue with the tickets not showing up as rewards but still being awarded.

If not, put in a support ticket.

I just did a scouting quest. The ticket did not show up in the reward, but when I picked it up as saw the notice that I got 2 tickets (which put me at 11/12, so I was able to get a berry).

No ticket for me, and I just spent 10 minutes in the combat bug. Had to jump off Allesia bridge to get rid of the bug.

This event is shaping up to be a nightmare.

Other than the Queue lengths, I don't understand players complaining about the performance during this event. Now, I am not saying there aren't performance issues in Cyrodil. There are, but those issues are independent of this event. Pop Locked Vivec performance will be the same before this event and during this event and after this event. It is the same number of players in either instance in Cyrodil. So the lag is the same lag that PVPers have been dealing with during prime time hours every single day anyways. This event is not making the performance worse because it is not increasing the population cap.

    1. Join queue to join guildies in Cyrodiil.
    2. Do writs
    3. Zone to turn in 10 event tickets
    4. Game crashes
    5. Load game back up
    6. Zone to turn in 10 event tickets because crash didn’t zone me properly.
    7. Turn in 10 event tickets
    8. Zone again to do something else whilst waiting in queue
    9. Game crashes
    10. Load game and wait for queue to finish

We’ll see what happens when I finally get to Cyrodiil but not holding out much hope that i’ll even be able to zone in without crashing.

nah, there’s the thing with waiting for a long queue, THEN disconnecting and no longer in the campaign and having to queue again.

There’s a couple days left in Vivec’s campaign and it’s unplayable. New campaign starts and it’s unplayable.

I did mine this morning in the off hours. Super quiet. No issues for anything, and I was in and out with my event tickets.

I did not use Vivec, rather the low pop no CP one.

Thank you. I cannot understand why non pvp-ers are willing to wait in 100+ queues just to get repeatedly run over by experienced players. If you want to try out pvp, Vivec is not the place to do it. Especially during an event. I really don't care that much for cheap kills.

^ Agree. I'm just there for the daily tickets, and they've made it fairly painless and quick to achieve that with all the options available.

My caveat here is that I also know how to move around, so that helps to avoid trouble. Stay off roads, break up your LoS with rocks and trees, pause every now and then to look around to see if anyone is near. Those sorts of things. I also look at the map for hotspots to avoid, and listen to chat in case gankers are out.

Are people crashing a lot while in a group? Try not being grouped and doing the same stuff. I don’t crash that often at all on either PC I have. (One is new and the other is 5 years old) I usually don’t que either, if a campaign has a que I just go into another one.

The difference that I see is that during Midyear Mayhem, PC/NA Vivec hits "primetime lagfest performance" at about 10 AM.

I just play in Shor instead during the afternoons and evenings when I would normally play Vivec.

Nice, why don't you pvp. You sound like you'd do ok. Don't get me wrong I don't want to discourage anyone from trying PVP but the events are not the way to try it. To me overland PVP is about the group experience. Finding the right group is what makes it fun, but during the events you won't find it. The regular groups that are willing to take people from zone are likely half empty if they haven't just given up completely and switched instances. To really try PVP in Vivec go on an average week. Watch zone chat guild advert like SOTP or PRPVP if you're EP. I don't do other alliances but in general the guild recruiting from zone are going to be patient with new people. Follow Crown and nobody is going to yell at you. Eventually you'l find a group you fit with no matter if you're 20 or 60. I'm 48 and I feel like one of the kids in SOTP. If we killed you there is a good chance you just got pwned by someone's grandmother. Possibly great grandmother.

Of course, when you are on the Xbox NA server, and you have sworn fealty to your PvP guild and to the pact and your home campaign is Vivec.

I should just pip right off and play on another server. Riiiigghhhtt....

Oh and not only was there lag, long load screens now just running on horseback in the wild trying to AVOID long load screens from transiting, getting straight kicked...now people in my group and guild are getting kicked right out of Cyrodiil with a message that they were removed from the server because:

    Wait for it:

    EXCESSIVE SPAMMING IN CHAT

    WTF ZOS?

How in H E Double hockey sticks do you have the unmitigated gall to kick people who are either busy sieging, riding on their HORSE with maxed out RAPID MANEUVERS or stuck in an eternal load screen with that load of horse feathers? To accuse them and deny them game play on a false, impossible, laughable premise?

They then are still in the group of 16-20 people who are still in Cyrodiil and they are in Deshaan, wherever. The group leader gets frozen and has to dashboard the game...and who does the game chose to be the crown? Can you guess? CAN YOU GUESS? Yes you genius you, the guy you falsely kicked from the Cyrodiil server in Deshaan!

Congrats ZOS, you are on my bigger hate list than 343 industries right now. SMH.

I logged off the game. I am going to find a way to play and not give you a dime ever again.

Has there been an emergency maintenance yet? LOL

Idk why ZOS do this - they do events that rely on things which they must know will break under event load like the dungeon finder and Cyro performance.

The result is all too predictable issues and an almost obligatory extension.

    It’s just poor game management.

    But why?

Why should we accept that a game, which has a population lock (obviously for performance reasons), performs horrifically at population lock, and performs terribly at 3x 2 bars of population lock.

It's bad design, and we shouldn't accept it.
