Cyrodil Lag in 2x AP event

How could you not fix the lag in cyrodil before this mideyear mayhem event. The PvP community is small as is. I’ve been a long Time part of the community and I can say for sure that the number of people that play has decreased. Now this event is the chance to bring more people into the pvp scene, but sadly they’re just going to be turned off by the unplayabilty of combat in this level of lag. L
Although perhaps this was all part of your plan, since lag benefits large group players chasing down us smaller scale, more skilled players. So maybe you did this to make it easier on the noobies. All I know is it’s about time you did something about this horrible game breaking lag in cyrodil.

desciviib14_ESO✭✭✭I cant do anything in Cyro. Yeah, Ive been here since beta and it's mostly always been terrible when theres enough people to have fun but it never ceases to be disappointing. I got dumped twice and now I cant log back and to throw salt iin the wound it tells me to check my internet connection cause yeah, that's the problem....sigh..battlegrounds it is, I guessThere is nothing here of interest to any nations; as a matter of fact, there is nothing here but people.1 -
Think it's time to come to terms and realize that they can't fix the issues. At least when another mmo comes out for console I really hope they look at ESO so they no what not to do in a PvP environment.. This game could of been so much more if they sorted the issues this game has had since day 1..4

✭✭✭✭✭Weirdly I did multiple zerg sieges, granted against weakly defended keeps but no issues, then in an friendly hold town doing some town quests I got lots of lag, some member of zerg did some quests so all should get their tickets but no fighting or anything.Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -

It can be made worse though. That's been demonstrated over the past 24 months. Now when I see 20/20 at a keep, I run the other way. Nothing worse that flying in through the front door to find that nobody's moving... or hitting that 30 second load screen as you approach.
I believe it can be fixed. If they can wreck it, they can fix it. It's just engineering and optimization. I also believe they have the capability. But I don't believe they're prioritizing it, and that's the problem IMHO.PS5NA2 -

Devlin69✭✭✭I stopped playing cyro a while back, it's not worth playing now, lag and loading screens make it to frustrating for me.
I cannot understand what made them do a pvp event though, they are not stupid, they knew it would be a pathetic mess and I dont see what they gain from making everyone angry with it.
I think they want cyro to die and everyone move over to BG because its cheaper for them to run smaller servers for 12 man BGs.
Cyro is just an expensive headache for them now.

✭Spent 4 hours in Cyro this afternoon, no DCs, little to no lag. There was a bit of lag when there were two big zergs clashing in a keep but that was expected. Pop-capped all the time.
Ping was less than stellar but otherwise no issues.0 -
