What I find curious is that no one is complaining about how it's just a re-skin - which is exactly what it is. Don't get me wrong, it's refreshing.

But ask yourself: What's more annoying? 4,871 posts about Indriks or 10,000 posts about crown crates?

The Indrik hype wore me out a while ago. I'll pursue it simply because it's easy to obtain. But I ceased caring about it some time ago.

I'm half-arsing it right now. I do like the idea of earning things in-game but this one isn't my thing.

Don't want an Indrik, so don't care about the complex mechanism for getting one, EXCEPT that it's swamped out everything else. Isn't there anything else I can do with these things? I only did the event stuff for the extra XP involved, on the alts that needed to catch up.

The only plus is that tickets don't take up inventory space.

The absurdity is reaching a new level with the upcoming Midyear Mayhem event. People who have avoided PvP like the plague for years are about to enter Cyrodiil for the first time in their lives to get their TICKETS. I've seen 4,871 threads about "how to do PvP without having to do PvP". For a split second I even considered dropping my life-long habit of not attacking peaceful questers in Cyrodiil towns.

"Just let people play the game the way they like!" you say. Oh fine, you're right. All I want is you to take a deep breath and reflect on whether THIS is really the game you've always wanted.
Logging in on schedule to do a boring quest you've done countless times before to get TICKETS for a useless mount everybody else has? Even entering PvP, something you've always detested, for TICKETS? Are you telling me this is the game you enjoy?

Come on, don't let the devs get away so cheaply! Wouldn't you rather play new content that's fun and enjoyable? Content that's a reward in itself? Content that's bug-free and lag-free even?
Please think about it while you're getting your TICKETS, that's all I ask.

People asked for in-game earnable mounts. They got them! ...and yet the parade continues despite you insisting on rain.

Think about the free mount you earn while collecting tickets, and know it has very little impact on the game's performance. The events were going to happen anyway, the tickets just piggybacked onto them.

I will say ticket once more

then doing an Cyrodil dailies you will not get the ticket as part of reward, I did an lots of town dailies but only got boxes with jewelry. Some in guild said they was just added to the currencies, probably right as I had 5 pretty sure I had 3 before.

Followed by an tips: if you do pvp quests on an character and do more than just getting one quest do not deliver extra PvP quests like killing player or taking keeps.
Now you can just log in at slow hours and deliver the quest at border keep for tickets.

If only we could purchase a variety of things with these tickets such as costumes, skins, furnishings, and other items. I have reached the ticket limit and not at all interested in evolving a mount that I would never use.

Correction, scouting mission did give tickets, although no indication that it did. The bounties do not though, I can attest to that.

Wonder if the bounties are not "dailies" but rater repeatable ones like the thief guild message board quests.

Know you run out of daily cyrodil town daily quests, never run into it for the border fort dailies but it might be possible but it sound hard in practice.

its a magical feathered derp deer. in different colors. I don't care if everyone has it, its not like psijic horse and pony was hard to get, i mean... we all got them even those of us who didn't do ANYTHING for the event, as long as you logged in at the right time while having summerset on your account. i STILL used that horse on one of my characters. why? cause its pretty and I like it.

you can like something because you like something. it doesn't need to be rare or difficult to get.

There are pictures of all the evolutions all over the forums. Just need to poke around in indrik threads to see them.

PvP events are some of the best, lots of weird stuff going on.
You also has plenty of players who entered PvP and did not leave much.

Unless you leave your comfort zone you don't know that you miss.
Still remember we shanghaied an level 20 in guild for an nAA run in an craglorn trials run and some left before AA.
Guy probably ended up pretty shell shocked as It did not sound he had done any dungeons.

Like the Psijic Villa, there is money to be made out of the Indrik promotion--in this case it's the fact that the endeavour of getting all the evolutions will be so grind-tastic that tickets sold in the CS will start to look like a fantastic option... At least ZOS could have made it that the berries were generic, so we could get our preferred evolution first, and not having to bother if we didn't want any of the others. It's deliberately convoluted, I mean, we have to occupy ourselves with something until the next shiny thing comes along, right...

However, the picture for PvP doesn't have to be as dramatic as you painted it, OP: most people who dislike PvP will just complete one quest, and get out of Cyrodiil; scout quests (which is what I'm going to be doing for tickets) are relatively fast, so although I get your frustration with the promotion as a whole, it's not the end of the world, at least where Cyrodiil is concerned. Bad performance is par for the course
