SUGGESTION: ALTERNATE SLOT/OPTION FOR RING OF MARA

I propose the creation of an entirely NEW PRODUCT that works similar to the Ring of Mara but slots into the TABARD slot.
The reason why the majority of leveling players do not wear a RING OF MARA is that it interferes/detracts from their crafted LEVELING gear SET BONUS, especially after 50/160.
* Ideally it can be used by a SINGLE PLAYER without the need for a partner.
* The cape or cloak could be sold as an UPGRADE in the CROWN STORE.
* The item could be tied in with the upcoming Necromancer offer BUT be used ALL CLASSES.
*The item could be INVISIBLE since previous graphics caused a rendering issue or provide the wearer with a glow.
* The item should be able to stack with XP scrolls & potions
* From a marketing pov the cape will open a completely NEW INCOME STREAM that is universally sought after by any player not at CP Cap.
With the HIGH CP CAP I am sure that many a player will GLADLY PART WITH THEIR COIN for such an item.

✭✭Not a bad idea at all. It may need to be something other than a cape though. They had intended for capes/cloaks to be in the game originally but it didn't work out for a multitude of reasons (extremely bad clipping, looked ridiculous when running because the engine couldn't do the physics correctly). I am guessing OP is considering this to be a consumable we could purchase in the crown store that would last 30 minutes or slightly longer period of time. Doubtful Zos would sell one that was essentially permanent or even extremely long lasting.0 -

✭✭I always saw the Ring of Mara as a "you can have more XP, but you lose out on the set bonus" as a compromise thing. Often the set bonus can be enough to carry you towards more XP regardless.
Would it be used? Possibly, but there are so many other sources of XP boost and it's worth remembering that anything in the Crown Store that gives an XP boost should be obtainable in-game also, so you'd have to be able to craft it somehow.0 -
