Snipe From 40 Meters Shouldn't Stun

I'm 100% okay with a powerful snipe for archers. I never cry about getting Xv1'd by archers behind a zerg because that's where archers are supposed to be. I think it's idiotic that people complain about getting hit by powerful ranged attacks in an AvA game that features archers.

Fighting outnumbered means coming up with a tactic to deal with that.

HOWEVER, it is essential that a powerful ability like snipe *works properly*. ZOS needs to fix its bugs. The cue needs to play every single time. The desync bug must be permanently resolved.

If ZOS is unwilling or unable to fix it, then it should be changed because it's not really fair to be sniped from stealth with no cue.

This. Most people complain about the health desync, not Snipe by itself.

Lol at the people implying OP needs to L2P. @Aliyavana is one of the better stamsorcs within the top MMR tier of PCNA BGs, all the more impressive because he excels without running any cheese in his builds.

I guarantee he'd tear apart any of the naysayers here in a one-on-one. Big surprise they need to fanatically defend their max-range-desynced-dizzying-swing-with-defile-from-stealth playstyle to continue zerging down players like him.

    Edit: (spelling)

if that was true, then he has zero reason to make and spam nerf threads and nerf requests "daily"

Daily is an overexageration. I last asked for sloads to be nerfed and noticed many of the people here defending snipe also defended sloads back then too.

Not me and not so many either.
History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.

ZOS created the Snipe desync in Year1 of PC when they made an adjustment to “flight times” of skills. I remember it cause originally I thought my Stamblade was going to get screwed as the adjustment was supposed to benefit Sorcs. But my Stamblade Khajiit went from scared kitty needing very planned ganks with escape routes planned....to......
“Your dead....oh you there...your dead....ohhh yer riding your horse....You And Your Horse Are Dead!”
Which turned into boredom...snipeblade is verrrry boring.....

I am not convinced snipe health desyncs happen often enough to warrant actually changing the functionality of an ability because of it (affecting all players in the game, whether they ever experienced the bug or not).

Other than that, i agree with your assessment.
