New Update, new thread for Battle Music Toggle

My thread in the PTS sub got buried fast so here it goes.

Like for the past several updates I'd like to please ask the sound team to add a toggle in the sound options to disable the Battle Music, while letting the Ambient music play uninterrupted.

Pretty please with mini Sweetrolls on top? As it is now I'm forced to mute all music just because of one small part of the soundtrack i don't like.

I can only agree in part. I like how for epic fights epic music is being played. But when I am running through a public dungeon for example and kill an enemy every two steps, then I don't want the ambient music going silent again as soon as it resumes nor the combat music being overly dramatic for an enemy that died faster than the first four beats were played.

What I am afraid of is that spaghetti code (or something) will cause all sorts of unfitting music even though we only wanted the combat music gone. Suddenly dramatic scenes aren't dramatic anymore. Wrong ambient music is being played because the playlist is missing tracks and track 06 is suddenly different or something.

Implementing is probably more trouble than it's worth so my advice to you @ArchMikem is to turn off the ingame music completely and have your prefered music player play your playlist containing only the peaceful tracks from summerset/wolfhunter/etc. That's what I've been doing as well.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

I've wanted this for almost 3 years now. We are probably in the minority that want this feature and current solution is what you do @Ratzkifal.

I still hope they would implement it rather sooner than later. The music in this game is absolutely gorgeous and even bring tears to my eyes sometimes. It's one of the reasons I love this game so much and why I will remember it for decades after they shut down the servers.

All my favourite games have some amazing tunes and this game is one of them. Currently going through Vvardenfel and trying to avoid combat as much as possible just to let the music and atmosphere sway me.

Do you think it's that hard to implement? This is still on the top of that QoL list of things I want added.

Unfortunately this is something that wouldn't bring in more revenue, and would require "hard work". No way the current folks in charge @ZOS will give this the time of day. New ideas must be tied to some marketing gimmick (Dragons/Necromancer class) or a long grind that will encourage Crown store shortcuts (Jewelry crafting).

Could we get some cheesy option for battle music like the score from the old Star Trek with Shatner.

I'd like new battle music in the mix as well. As others have stated, tired of hearing the same thing every time I swat aside an overland mob.
