Can't wait to run a new class thru the same dry content

This content is amazing compared to any other MMO. What in the heck are you smoking?

All the new zones added to the game are just reskinned other zones. They're all the same with slightly different stories or landscapes. Heck even the amount of delves, open world bosses, public dungeons etc. is the same.

It's a scheme they used for the last 5 years which gets boring very fast because there is nothing new to see or do there. This game could really need an endgame zone with NEW things to do, similar to the former version of Craglorn. It was fresh and offered a new take on the usual ESO zones.

Neither Vvardenfell, nor Clockwork City, nor Summerset, nor Murkmire offered anything innovative or creative. That's the main gripe of OP imho.

Ya they are feeding off a churn population base. They have no intention of making a game for a long term community

I have a feeling you may be right.

I’d definitely like to have a Necromancer alt but I’ve played since beta and have Tamriel Hero on two toons - so grinding a new toon is very hard to face.

A lot of zone content is OK once or twice - but has a severe repeatability issue after that lol. Content in this game gets old pretty fast.

Think I’m going to wait until a double XP event and stack a scroll.

That's exactly what I did during the New Life Festival. Had 8 alts that had been visiting the stables every day and researching forever, but hadn't otherwise been touched. Got them all to level 50 super easy just by rushing them through the main quest (XP + Skill Points). Never need to worry about that again, at least not until they add more character slots.

And no amount of self imposed artificial handicap will remedy the lack of engagement those zones demand of players.

[...] The lack of any truly meaningful content that present a genuine danger or challenge outside of very specific instanced dungeons does get exhausting.

well sponken. I feel like most replies here come from casual players that are fairly new to the game with less than 200 cp. If you have played every class with every spec, your understanding of the game mechanics and its builds becomes so easy that you can literally afk in overland (and on a less extreme manner) in most other PvE content and don't see a scratch on your characters skin. The mobs AI is just incredibly bad (someone mentioned 2 seconds intervals of auto attacks that do unnoticable amounts of damage) and the quests design is super repetitive among different zones. If I'd want to play engaging quests and overland activies, Skyrim did a fantastic job. Much less quests, however much more thought through, sucking you into the game atmosphere and setting. Quality over quantity.

I find my challenge however in PvP, where splitseconds of combat decide about the outcome of fights and you always have to be prepared for ambushes and thrills. Then however, Cyrodiil doesn't provide any sort of reward outside of worthless AP, some incredibly cheap sets and due to the horrible state of game performance 60% of the players I encounter are familiar names known for years.

From a PvP perspective, its thrilling to learn a new class, theory craft the heck out the new builds and playstyles and surprise people with new challenges - until the lag kicks in or you get bored of repetitve game modes and worthless rewards for your efforts.
