Speculation: More racial options? Models? Subspecies?

    No.

You know why? Because all races look the same except their height. Put every race into the same outfit and let's just see their back: everybody looks the same.

There is no racial diversity in this game when their stature and faces, haircuts and jewelry is identical.

I hope to find a pocket of surviving Lilmothiit that can become playable.

If the game took place any later than it does it'd be a no go but some might still be kicking around.

Give them to the Covenant for some reason, they don't have any tailed races yet.

I dont think another race will happen. Not to say that i dont want it to happen. I think more races would be great for ESO. Id love to play as a maomer, other subraces/races

I would LOVE for them to add in Lilmothiit. I've seen multiple people point out that they could still exist at this point. As for rarity? Every single player in this game is the defeater of Molag Bal, and every single player is the fifth companion. So we are supposed to ignore that shiz anyway. I'd LOVE a foxyloxy.

Subraces could be added with simple customization options to the existing races, no need to add a separate race at all really. Anything elf put it on one of the existing elf races. Add Naga options to Argonian. Add new fur and maybe ear options to Khajiit. Add whatever to any Human race. Maoamer for example are High Elves with different skin and hair options, really if you look at them they aren't anything more.

I posted this on a different thread- but here you go:

Well, if ZOS is officially going to call this next patch a "Dragonbreak"- technically, they could reintroduce Dwemer (dwarves), Lilmothiit (fox people), Kothringi (purplish/silver skinned men), and Falmer (snow elves).

Other races could include: Maomer (sea elves), Imga (ape people), Ka Po'Tun (tiger people), Tang Mo (monkey people), Tsaesci (snake people), Reiklings, and Minotaurs.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    No.

    2 reasons.

    1. Most sub races are rare. Making them a playable species takes them from rare status to not rare at all lore wise.

    2. Races that are not rare have not Provence to call their own. Example Maomer. They are a race in Tamriel, but they have no home Provence so making any race without their own area would also kinda be out of the question.

Thats the dumbest logic yet i mean we can make imperials but they dont start in cryodiil not part of any particular faction. Besides just make a newer any race any faction that unlocks new sub races

It sounds quite fun, but as a Tamriel person who plays to see the places not seen in the single-player games and the new additions to lore, there is only so much I can take. This would become a whole new game and would have nothing in common with TES 6.It would cease being a work of art and love and be a two-fingered (I"m a Brit) salute to my love for Tamriel. I dunno how many are still here who feel like this, but ESO would probably lose us if they went that way. Not that I have much hope of Beth even making TES 6 by this point. But I do have fully modded TES3-5 to return to, Unity for Daggerfall and a whole host of new massive mods coming sooner than TES6. All the mounts skins, vamps and werewolves running around with daft names is already as much immersion breaking as I can take. This isn't to say I don't (double negatives, told you I was a Brit) appreciate it's just a game and I love to see everyone having fun, and I like my pets and mounts that don't get too silly, but heck, that would be a bridge too far. Or maybe not, first thing I do when Necromancers come is to level up in the Alik'r just for the lulz. If they insist on being ridiculous to the stories they wrote 6 years ago, might as well do it in style.

I'd like to see a subrace system being added.

Bretons could have a regular and a Reachman option, Imperials obviously have Nibonese and Colovian, Redguards have Crown and Forebears though it is probably far-fetched to call that subraces as it is more of a subculture, Khajiiti have many subraces though many of them would probably not fit as playable. Argonians have the Naga. Maybe Ashlander can be considered a subrace of the Dunmer. Nords could have a Skaal option. The Orcs could have a Wood-Orc option. For other races, I don't really have any idea.

I would think Maormer would fit better as a fully distinct race (and could have a more fishy option as a subrace) rather than a subrace of Altmers.

If Goblins ever get added as playable, then Riekr might be a subrace option.

About other class features, additional cosmetics tied to subraces might be cool. And we could maybe get an active racial skill some time down the line. Like summonning an Ancestor Ghost for Dunmer, going Berserk for an Orc, and so on.
