I wouldn't hold out hope on a leveling system overhaul. There are other concerns about CP (you can read lots of comments about the "power creep" on the forums and elsewhere).

Instead I'd suggest you try and join a social guild that does some trials. The guild I belong to, for example, often does trials and we allow anyone to in the guild to join even if they're low CP - because everyone has to start somewhere.

Find a partner, spend 3-4 hours that week in Skyreach with an XP scroll, you'll end up a much higher CP.

At your level, you're very likely not ready for Vet trials. You need those CP if you're going to survive a lot of the more punishing mechanics. As a healer, you also need the CP to pump into things like Blessed and Elfborn to help make your heals more effective. All support has to be on point or it shows, whereas an underperforming DPS can sort of blend in most of the time and go unnoticed. You just need to spend some of your gaming time putting in the work to get your CP up, and you'll be there in no time.

I'm sorry but this is not needed. Many game developers have modified their games as they realized that players have a life outside of their game, the casual players as many call them. I can see your point and the OP points both are valid. The fact that the old school gamers of the past are now living actual lives and don't have the time many games want to these players as they are now financially secure and can pay more towards the game making casual players the most sought after players. Hardcore players typically are not as inclined to spend on games like the casual it is why we see more things being designed around the casual player.

My suggestion to the OP is find a 2-3 guilds that are all about running dungeons and trails and let them know in advance you have limited playing time and your interest. Since you are a healer you may get into some of the harder content with lower CP; that is very common in other MMOs where support players are taken along even though they maybe below the expect stat/gear for content.

I myself just hit 160 CP and since I play two MMOs I try to spend more time here than on the other one as I'm BiS on two characters and my third is nearly maxed out as well in the other MMO. In that other MMO I never say no to a support player as long as they are able to run the content. Saying no to a support character is like telling them go play another game and in my experience all MMOs need more support characters and less DPS.

Keep that in mind my prior sentence as you play and if someone says you are to low CP, ask them how long they have waited for a healer and if they are willing to wait even longer or take you along so they can get into the content and get it done. I find that most will be like, yeah take him along he is ok to bring along.

Like WoW and pretty much every other main stream MMO on the market? Because in WoW max level is max level; gear score doesn't take a year+ to max for new players. What this would encourage is more "casual" players into the game. What I mean by casual is people like me, that played MMO's hard core in school and college and now dont have 20+ hours a week to be competitive in a game that requires months and months of grind in order to max out. I solved the problem, this thread and the game has solidified the fact that this game isn't for me anymore. I have re-subbed to WoW and wont be injecting my funds into this one any further. I appreciate everyone's time and patience and discussion, but I am at the point that logging in is frustrating. I'm sure ill be back in the future if something changes, but until then I am out.

You should be fine for all normal trials and the vet craglorn ones as a healer.

I would recommend doing each one on normal a few times before you attempt vet though
