Have they brought back the imperial officer pack yet?

I checked the store and I don't see it. It was such a thorn in my side when I learned they removed it I uninstalled not long after. It's now 2019. Are they ever going to sell it? I'm considering reinstalling this but I want that costume. Even if it's a crate reward I'm OK with that.

If they brought it back while you were away you would miss it. I would expect it has been in the crates at some point but as individual costumes and probably will again. It was in the crown store for over half a year originally.

Unless they also fixed the major problem I had that made me uninstall: crafting nodes that scaled with your character and crafting level, so that you had no chance to find lower level materials on a max level character with high crafting.

They did 'fix' that. You do writs, and get given mats of all levels. I do then daily on one toon and I'm drowning in lower level mats, i was concerned when they changed this too as I'm a guild crafter etc but it was unfounded worry as you get plenty of them, and now if you do a farm run you get the decent stuff for your effort.

This. If that is not sufficient then I suggest you give up as it is so very unlikely Zos will revert the change.

Haven't played since 2016 so no idea if it's sufficient. If it is then I just have to wait until they release that costume pack again.

Also seeing reports that Cyrodil is really laggy. That's not good

I'm not a big PvE raid guy. No time or patience for it.

Everyone's motovations for playing a game are different, get that, but what's your requirement? If low level mats were the blocker I'm sure you will be ok if you do writs.

If its the costume fair do, but why not give it a play to see if you enjoy it and have the costume as a bonus if it comes. Rather than wait, get costume then realise you don't like the game.

Class / skill changes etc are probably more likely to impact your enjoyment as alot has changed in the last few years.

Lag commentary is up, but it depends on what region / platform and time you play. My DD mainly looks for small scale, often in Shor / Sotha and i don't see lag. Even healing on vivec (non prime time) i don't get issues. So it depends how you play and when (i.e. Prime time zerg)

Out of interest what is the imperial officers costume? As with outfits i bet you can make similar.

Aren’t these costumes available in flame atronach Crates season? In blue tier I think.

Honestly I would recommend you file a ticket with eso support. My husband bought me a Christmas present that was not available in crown store by contacting them. Apparently they will do this for certain requests.

If it's preventing you from playing the game it's probably worth a shot.

Ooh enlighten me on this outfit system? It wasn't around when I last played. So I can make myself that imperial outfit? I do want the shoulders though, but maybe I can find an even better alternative. Can I also make the coloring of the helmet?

See, before I uninstalled I spent some money on crowns to buy that pack, only to see they removed it from the store. I was MAD. That's the only costume I wanted, I spent money for it (and it's not easy to get me to spend money on store purchases), and they retired it. I looked at the store last night and not one outfit available is appealing to me, but the imperial officer costume pack still is.

So if the costume is available in flame atronach crates, are those crates still available? I'm not going to spend money gambling on a chance of getting the costume, but if it works like I can open some, get some monetary reward for it, then purchase the costume, I'll do that.

As for crafting, my problem is that I like to supply my low level alts with gear etc. with my high level mains. I used to be able to go to certain zones and farm the mats they needed for their level, but One Tamriel messed it all up and really pissed me off.

(to be honest, I hate the idea of forced level scaling. I like traditional MMORPGs with zones designed for specific levels, from newbie yards to endgame dungeons. If I reinstall this the level scaling may make me quit again

So it was a combination of things that made me quit: Spending money on something they wouldn't let me purchase, farming crafting mats changed for the worse IMO, and forced level scaling. Oh, they were also planning to charge real life money to change your appearance, rather than ingame gold like most other MMORPGs. It stank of greed)

EDIT: Where do I even file a ticket for the costume? I'll try it, and if they give it to me and deduct the crown cost I'm reinstalling right away.

Ticket submitted. If they respond correctly and let me purchase it I'll see you in game soon! If they don't...well let me research this outfit system and see if it will serve my needs.

On an unrelated note, are stam sorcs viable now in 2019? That was my main. He was fun and I like playing slightly different and unpopular builds, so long as they are viable in some way.

EDIT: Ok there are outfit change tokens in the store - one "free" outfit alteration for 400 crowns (not exactly free is it?). We have to spend money whenever we want to alter an outfit? Wtf.

Interesting stuff. So I have an imperial which means I can make an outfit that looks like heavy imperial armor like in the costume pack? And I can mix and match pieces from other motifs, and dye them if I'm ESO Plus?

i have 2 of those costumes (each came separately in a crate)...i'm not sure which two though - they kind look a lot alike

i want to say they are released individually now as costumes (no pack)...i can't remember if they sold for 100 or 40 gems each...

hopefully we'll see them again during the imperial city anniversary event - usually in early september...

ooops, i was wrong - looks like they still do sell them as a pack (700 crowns):

although that's weird, the image in the photo for the armor is wrong - and - the photo is from a while ago (not sure exactly when)...

You can almost make the entire outfit in the outfitter station now
