    That sounds about right; it follows the 1% internet rule, which sounds like a joke but is actually a real thing you can use to estimate user engagement for anything online.

    for every 100 users, 90 will be casuals/lurkers, 9 will be people that are invested and participate heavily, and 1% will be people that are extremely hardcore and actively work (for this game it would be like people that stream, create builds, run guilds)

    Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

    And even if your numbers are correct, the question is, who is financing this game? I bet it is the minority. In which case, the majority should not be too hell-bent to get its way for when the majority drives away that minority it won't be able to play the game either.

    Whether casuals, fanboys, hardcore gamers or whatever I still question the actual population when waiting in a queue for over 20mins and noticed other folks standing at Undaunted enclaves who perhaps might be waiting for it to pop too... I don't care how these guys play as can adapt but so long as there are folks to play with :D
