My suggestion is that Midyear Mayhem stays as it has been with any encores being called PVPalooza, as I mentioned in that other thread.

They could throw out the Palooza anytime they need an impromptu PVP event. They could do it two or three times a year to really get their money's worth out of the OP loading screens and Godmode lag.

Not to be another one of those Lore people, but it is winter in Tamriel right now. "Mid" meaning "in the middle or midst", not the "half way point", puts "midwinter" about right now.

We also have to realize that "Midyear" is actually a calendar reference in Tamriel, so "Midyear Mayhem" refers to an event that takes place at a certain time, even if ZOS is not doing it according to the strict calendar. If you want a mental reference, imagine if they called it "June Mayhem" and then ran the event at the end of July. Any person living in Tamriel (I know...) would see "Midyear" like that, and wonder why the event was not in Midyear. :shrug:

Morning Star Mayhem would also be a good name for an event this month, given the above.

No it needs a RE-Vamp. ZOS events are geared towards the new players in the game. I know I cannot speak for all veteran players but these events are the same grind every year and at some point just get old doing. What ZOS needs to do is add new content/quests to the events each year. I don't need to get the Flaming Swords or recipes and motifs pages that do not sell anymore along with the rest of the crap that is offered as rewards over and over again. For those of you doing the event for the tickets well good for you. To me the mount is a joke and I would not be caught dead riding it but that is my opinion and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
