So how are Stam Necromancers going to play?

What kind of skills will they have? And will they be called Stamcers?

No one can tell atm besides devs and they rarely comment on forums....

They have 6 skills per skill line, 1 ulti per skill line but 3 morphs for each one of it. An entire skill line starts stamina based. It will be a mix of nb and sorc, so expect great mobility, damage, pets, and debuffs!

Dual-Wielding, Two Handed Weapons or Bows.

We don't really have the information to go on yet though. We'll have to see if it is a class and how they set it up before we can tell how it plays.

Not specifically stam related, but one idea I had was that it would be super cool if you could summon opponents you killed to fight by your side.

Just imagine in PvP after killing someone you can raise his corpse and the resulting npc will be using the exact same skills that the player had on his bars. That would be so cool.

Most classes have a main damage theme: DK fire/poison, Sorc lightning, Warden ice, Templars light. For necros it could be oblivion damage.

Probably something similar to unholy death knights in WoW. Unholy dks are technically melee necromancers.

    Disease damage is more likely.

That would have the PvP players scream them self dry while it would be useless for PvE. Warden on steroids.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Hoping for a shadow knight/death knight feel. Though I wonder how that's going to compare to stamblades.

Honestly hope it’s a skill line. Because otherwise it’s jsut gonna make playing a pet sorc obsolete entirely. In fact I’ve got a feeling it’s gonna make magicka sorcs fairly unplayed. It’s gonna be that but better.

current guess is something involving decease damage and defile

So Stamcers as Deathknights with disease damage and defile debuff. Magcers focussed on raising corpses. I like!

I'm pretty sure it's going to be "magic" damage.

Disease damage for stamina /magic damage for magicka sounds very Nightbladey, but I just can't see it any other way. You're going to need a tetanus shot to fight one.

Probably buffs, like how Stam sorcs are almost completely weapon skills.

I mean the pets might deal physical damage even if it takes magicka to rez them

You know that there have been stamina based necromancers in the past right? Who needs magic when you have raw power and science.

Since new mini-trial will be strictly magicka-only again, stamina necromancers will be summoning training skeleton dummies. That will be their playstyle. ^^

You mean they will be asked to get on a magic nightblade

Physical and disease damage I expect. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/451995/necromancer-class-skill-lines If you've ever played Divinity Sins 2, the Necromancer builds all do physical (not magical) damage and synergise well with 2H swords or daggers.

I can very well see this being the same in ESO.

Pet sorcs are already basically obsolete. They do very low dps and are only decent in 1v1 pvp.

Can we just have one Mage class that is actually a mage?

Melee stam or bow skellys or magicka staff skellys based on your build, stam skellys would scale off max stam or weapon dmg. Then weapon skills to add to the build. Might throw a stam heal into the package like wardens
