ZOS think they have better idea than they community at large, lolls.
Do they? Well, I've called out a number of their attempts as 'amateur'. lol

I mean, if you think you can do better, how about you apply for a job at ZOS? Which also goes for the other armchair devs here. I am glad they don't implement stuff from the community at large otherwise people would be running around Cyrodiil slapping at one another there would have been so many nerfs.
There certainly are issues that need better communication. But the worst idea in the world would be to listen to everyone around here. Why you may ask? Because everyone has their idea of what a perfect game would be, and rarely would they ever allign with someone else's idea of a perfect game. It would not be good for the game at all.

No, but when the community unanimously decides that x change is bad and should be reverted, even the class reps, you can be pretty damn certain that change is bad and should be reverted. Or, at the least, readdressed.

And they did reverse the cast time on shields. smh

After the community collectively lost their minds, spewing salt unto the forums. That wasn't listening, that wasn't reverting because the community thinks it was bad, that was a knee-jerk reaction to the community's disdain.
When did they revert the health cap to shields, since the community pretty much universally agrees it was also a bad change?
When did they revert the changes to movement speed?
When did they revert the changes to sustain in Morrowind?
When did they revert the heavy-handed nerfs to crit in Horns of the Reach when a single set was overperforming?

Nobody cried as loud as sorcs for the other issues, except for sustain.
Not defending them just pointing out what you said isn't entirely true.
Proc sets needed to lose their crit, shields needed to be capped and speed was out of control.

Hi everyone. First of all, you aren't wrong. We agree we haven't been communicating as much as we should on this matter (among others) and for that, we apologize. There really is no excuse.
They don't have an excuse for why they don't, they just don't. They're sorry though, please stay on the line, your call is very important to them.

Lol, what a disgrace comment.

No response from Devs with any constructive comments for ages.
More and more ridiculous grind that the community has been opposing too since the beginning,
3 pages of forum posts - only 3 replies, which are literally about shutting down posts and nothing else!

The simple fact that one of the devs basically told a customer to go away when they're asked something, wow. I know it's not all on Rich Lambert to make this game, it takes a team, but you don't have to be sassy towards your fans and your customers. I saw that screenshot on discord and I also shared it with other discords & eso guilds. I actually double checked to make sure I am unsubbed and my husband will be too. I have 99 days left. I feel bad resubbing, because I unsubbed before due to pvp performance problems and I came back when I saw that they listened to some of the shield cast time feedback and they were doing something with the class reps. During the holiday sales I only bought 1 of the biggest crown packs when it was on sale, and that will be the last of that. My husband didn't even bother buying any on his account. If they can respond within five minutes to complaints for crown store items, they can surely try responding more politely to players (rather than you know the usual where they ignore PvP complaints). I'm utterly disappointed in Bethesda, especially since we had a poor experience with Fallout76 as well.

If everybody who is disappointed in the current route the game is taking would at least "not be here" and stop financing the game still through crown Store then Mr. ZOS probably would have to develop and fix good content to actually make a living.

Before you went and posted that screen shot to all those discords did you bother to hunt down the post and read the thread and also post it so everyone that sees it could connect it with more context? Rich had every right to tell that person he didnt need to be in the thread. The thread was a great back and forth that Rich didnt have to do were he was answering personal questions about his time spent as a player in game like the rest of us. The rude post ended up derailing the thread and it was locked down shortly after just as every thread we get were the devs offer a little human side behind their ZoS tags.
For those that want more then just a "sound bite" to be angry over here is the whole thread. Its a fun read. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/277898/rich-lambert-im-calling-you-out/p1

by continuing to ignore real feedback like videos they invite this angry form of feedback and you are not helping by defending their inability to fix anything but the crown store
@Inklings maybe instead of assuming that we're not providing real feedback you should go through all the posts that @Koolio made, all the support tickets and the videos posted, then tell us again how we're just complaining. Keep your white Knight to yourself, by continuing to ignore real feedback like videos they invite this angry form of feedback and you are not helping by defending their inability to fix anything but the crown store
@ZOS_RichLambert invites this attitude by the sarcastic comments in the screenshot and the eyerolls over on Twitter
