Crushing Weapon

Been playing around with the Psijic skill Crushing Weapon. I'm likely using it wrong because It doesn't seem worthwhile. i tried a couple of tests using a bow.
1. Spam light attacks on target
2. Spam light attacks and try and weave in crushing weapon
The pure light attacks dealt far more damage. Crushing Weapon seems clunky and just slows up the light attacks.
Suggestions?

gamerguy757✭✭✭✭✭The key is weave LA with crushing weapon.
So drop all DOTs, hit LA -> crushing Weapon then when your arm is the back position, click light attack again. The purpose is to do damage with your light attack then addition damage is added on1 -

✭✭If you start Crushing Damage and then weapon swap it cancels the animation and you attack with it a lot quicker.So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭On a bow/bow build the skill works okay. Because you can use it at range in combination with other skills like you can with elemental weapon. ✭I tried this skill because it was part of an online build. I couldn't pull it off. It looked like it didn't properly cast half of the times and I felt like an idiot, 'wasting' one global cooldown basically doing nothing but posing for screenshots with my weapon.
Went back to dizzying swing. Takes longer to wind up but it actually looks/feels like we're doing something. Plus it stuns. Which was great in vMA.0
