"Home" vs. "Guest" vs. other Cyrodiil campaigns

In your "Home" Cyrodiil campaign, you're participating in overall alliance scoring and in the rewards for same. I get that, although if somebody more knowledgeable wants to spell out the details, that would be great.

But what's the difference between your "Guest" campaign and any other one?

It’s just so you can get into another Campaign for say an Emperor push for friends practice with your pvp guild in less densely populated campaign or so you can participate in trifaction events for skyshards or Imperial City.

There really is no difference in terms of what you experience as the PvP rewards are still obtainable in both Home and Guest campaign variants. The only difference is that Home your PvP score standing with the leaderboard is recorded whereas Guest does not have it recorded; I can only assume this is to fight against campaign abandonment by losing any chance at Emperor + disallowing the chance you being Emperor on both campaigns at the same-time.

In a guest campaign you are contributing to your alliance in that campaign but not getting any leaderboard or campaign rewards from any actions in that campaign.

Also, we used to gain more AP in our home campaign due to bonuses which is probably still the same. Bonuses from having home keeps and more used to not carry over to quest campaign iircc. I have not guested in a long time so not sure how it is now but I would expect we still get bonuses only when in our home campaign.

Someone more knowledgeable than myself probably know.

I think he’s asking Difference between guest campaign and others not your home. Simple, you can only enter guest or home. And you can also only have one guest, though you can swap it easier than your home.

Again, used to be you could enter any campaign even if it was not your guest. Though you would have to travel to someone, or a group member, if it was not set as your home or guest. However, as I said, I have not been guesting into any campaigns. I only enter my home campaign so Zos might have changed it.
