Soul Assault not working as described?

So I’m confused. I was fighting a nightblade, and stunned and Soul Strike him and expecting a kill, but for some reason he just went invisible and proceeded to SA animation cancel me to death.
Now on the description of the attack it says “enemies affected by this attack are revealed and cannot go invisible for 2 seconds.”
Why was the nightblade able to go invisible after being affected by the attack?
