This is one of my all time favorite pieces of ESO art. I was looking at it today and thinking how fun it would be to make up a funny conversation going on in this tavern scene. Is the Nord bragging about taking down that troll with the Khajiit, but the Bosmer in the background is quietly smirking because she knows what really happened? Is that Breton/Nord girl just wishing he would buy her a refill? Just how drunk is that pretty Redguard woman, and is she following the story?

My dog said to me "Now that's something you don't see every day" and I said "Shhhdaddapp Fffido, Ddoggos Dddon't talk!" Then with the power of the 4 gallons of mead I drank in one sitting before my hunt, I slew the troll and mounted its head here on my wall!"Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.4 -

Housing guest limit. You can have a party, but you gotta pick and choose who really deserves to come. I'd have gone with Khajiit, Nord, Orc, Argonian, Redguard, and Bosmer myself.Men'Do PC NA AD Khajiit

✭✭Looks like an old Nord warrior has some guests from far away. Maybe old friends? Or travelling merchants and mercenaries who need a bed for the night?
Tells them the story how this troll head landed on his wall.
Judging from his face, the victory of the man was either unorthodox, maybe because the troll did something stupid like slipping off a cliff, or the victory was very close and the old warrior is very proud.
The two elves and the redguard seem pretty entertained by the storytelling abilities of the old Nord, while the Khajiit seems to admire the dog. Maybe because such wolflike dog breeds are rare in Elsweyr? Or Khajiit tend to keep all sorts of Senche as their company? Maybe the dog saved his master's life during this battle and the Khajiit is impressed by the courage of the non-feline companion?3 -

Indeed indeed. ✭✭✭✭✭Mehshar the Singer hums softly under his breath. Many of the unfurred do not - precisely - find Khajiit voices appealing. He grins at the dog who is thinking Mehs is just a larger cat to chase. Should the dog choose to open hostilities, well.... Mehshar will have a great deal of fun. And then Mehs will owe the innkeeper too much gold.... for damages....
Mehshar eyes the small Bosmer with interest. She wears gloom underneath - but covers it with a bright grin. Bravery has always attracted him. And.... she is quite lovely, though of course she cannot flirt a tail in his direction. Well, some other time perhaps.
Belit the very furry dog has chosen to adopt the "better part of valor" option - something about a man-sized cat makes him.... wary. He drops his chin on the bone between his paws, and closes his eyes. Of course, being what he is, he is perfectly capable of sleeping with his eyes open! Always better to remain alert.
Faldurn Old-Cloak thinks that all are enthralled with his tales of daring. And how he wishes to find the warmth inside his bed with that most lovely elf! Unfortunately, it seems that Glefinthor has eyes only for Terinkel. How - common.... Well, perhaps the Khajiit? That would be a comedown of a sort, but the fur.... A flush rises in his face, and he finds himself hard-put to restrain his more obvious emotional response.
Glefinthor stands, wincing away from the troll-head above the fireplace. He holds a hand out to Terinkel. She takes his hand to stand, but then bows and goes toward the inn's outer door, leaving all the males to watch her away.
A few moments later, there is only Belit and Meshar. And the head of the troll above the fireplace.
Belit howls. And the troll's head grins. Mehshar's fur stands on end - he leaps up, takes the hand of Melila Dawnshadow, and they run for the stairs, neither choosing to look back.
Night falls upon the common room of The Inn of the Troll's Head.2
