Buff ice damage and add more ice spells. Create other ways to magically taunt.

Ice staff talking was the "great" idea no one asked for.

I'd like a few class skills that have a taunt. Maybe for the classes that aren't traditionally seen as tanks.

For example. Bound Aegis for sorcerer. Get rid of that terrible block mitigation. Instead, make it a toggle that summons a sword and shield. Right mouse blocks and it uses s&B passives. Left click taunts. Make bound weapons a thing in this game.

There already is an option for this. Just dont put skill points into the Tri-Focus passive.

An added passive to the Destruction Staff skill line negating the Ice Staff heavy attack taunt would be most appreciated

Agreed this is available but we lose out on the additional damage we could have in this passive. A single additional passive turning taunting on or off would be sweet!

I think ice destruction staves should not have a taunt at all. Destruction magic isn't for tanking in the TES universe. The game needs a separate magicka tanking weapon.

I would love to see the ice staff go back to -destruction- rather then -defense-; and have them add a completely new staff line for tanky magica chatacters - Mysticism staff? Alteration staff? Whatever... but that one should get the taunt and damage shields, keeping ice as DPS choice with more freeze, slow and debuff effects (so fire would be single target damage, lightning multiple targets damage , and ice single target debuff)

The aoe/st/tanking divide is completely nonsensical. It doesn't make it some kind of interesting choice which staff you use, it just makes the decision for you, whether it fits into your character or build concept or not. Just make each slightly increase their respective damage type.
If you really want to keep this tanking choice in, please make it independent of the damage passive. You would then have to remove the option of taking block cost reduction while retaining stamina blocking cost, however.
