So I hit level 50 but now I don't know what to do. I've just been following the quests and the main story line and now I'm at 50 and I'm kinda lost. What do I do now? I kinda don't feel like do cadwells silver because that just seems like more questing. BTW IM ON CONSOLE SO TAMERIAL ONE ISNT HERE YET.

One Tamriel is now on console. Has been for about half a day now. All you can really do is start getting champ points until you can do group content such as trials and group dungeons without being kicked from the group

Congrats, you're about 1/3 through the PvE part fo the game (without any DLCs).

You can do Cadwell's Silver and Gold quests, which are the last 2/3 of the PvE quests or spend some time in PvP or do dungeons or trials or grind or something completely different ...

Depends a lot upon what you want out of the game and find enjoyable. You can at least now go and explore any area that grabs you attention. You can also hang out with any friends no matter which alliance or level they are - except in the Cyrodill war zone. You can go for any achievements that you like (as now you can kill anything anywhere and get loot). You can even pull up a chair at a quiet fishing hole and just chill - just make sure that you feed any hungry looking Khajiit you are watching your fish very closely :>

Just beware of the swarms of skellies who have been sighted in parts of one Tamriel - care of the latest dieting fad.

Well, the most important thing that happens when you reach level 50 is called Hands Across Tamriel™.

We all log in on Sunday afternoon (ZOS time, EST) and stand shoulder to shoulder and /dancekjaiit in our best rare crafted armor motifs all dyed newbie green and tan and you get to run along the entire length of the chain of people, nekkid, and /bucketsplashing everyone.

Now you can enjoy the endless grind for gear, welcome to horrible RNG and know that by the time you get the gear you need with the traits you need, you should be at max CP.

I suggest first to try everything and then its easier to decide how you like to continue playing . So go an try Pvp, trials, cadwells almanac, dungeons, craglorn, crafting, (maybe dlc?), fishing, exploring...

I was kind of in your situation when I hit 50 not so long ago. In fact, when I finished main quest in Coldharbour I was about CP20-30. I started doing Silver zone, but I soon got overleveled and it got boring, so I headed to Wrothgar. But now, with 1T, quests and mobs will always be your level so you won't have this problem.
One thing I started doing and really enjoy, is to do normal dungeon pledges, from the Undaunted quest givers. It was a really welcome change in pacing and changes the gameplay completly for the couple tens of minutes you do dungeons everyday. Plus, you get Undaunted keys, wich give you a chance for BiS shoulders (though you should definitely wait till CP160 before using those keys).
So, keep questing, do normal pledges, and grind those CP. When you hit CP160 (wich I should do myself tonight or tomorrow) you can start farming gear.

No need to do Cadwells now, you can complete all the other alliance zones and the quests therein in their entirety.

It took me over 2 years to get my first level 50, but then I play MMOs for the journey and not the destination.

"what are trials" These are 12 player dungeons. The bosses generally are harder than any of the 4 player dungeons. They also award some of the best gear in the game.

"where do i get all these gear sets that i see people talking about?" Depends. There are many many ways to get gear. Each Zone has about 3 different gear sets that can be farmed through quests, delves, public dungeons, chest, world bosses, and dolmens. Below is a great web sight where you can look up information about these gear sets, what they do, and where they are from.

    https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Elder+Scrolls+Online+Wiki

"what about the potions? is there a place to buy them? or do i need to craft them?" Potions are a way to instantly grant you health, Magicka, and/or Stamina. They come in many different flavors and uses. You can purchase them from Guild Traders, or you can level your Alchemy and craft them on your own (or ask a friend to craft them for you if that is an option)

Get that CP to 160. Then you can start running Normal Trials and more Veteran Dungeons.

Until then, you can run normal and vet (non-dlc) dungeons.

You can jump into Cyrodiil or Battle Grounds, which can be a ton of fun, win or lose.

You can play the Trader Market by researching popular items, and selling them for a fortune.

You can work towards becoming a master crafter by researching all the traits.

You can clear achievements by running around completing all the Delves, Public Dungeons, Sky Shards, World Bosses, and Striking Sights.

You can get into the Furniture Crafting and House Decorating side of the game.

Since you are asking here on the forums, I assume you either don't have experienced friends that you play with often, or maybe don't have a very active guild (If I am wrong I apologize for the assumption), but you can expand your social circle in the game and tag along with people. Generally just rolling with some folks can show you what the game has to offer post lvl 50.

Also, if you are on PS4, feel free to hit me up @ fizzlepop-531 if you have any questions. I'm more than happy to help you out.
