After all that ***, which was going on with Sload, we still something like that in game.
Mudballs are unblockable, Undodgable, Unpurgable and goes through shields.
My warden had her precious Birds gutted, while mudballs remains, to further decrease class diversity.

Mudballs is also a bane to ERP, simply no one likes you when you look like a dungmonster

In my opinion wearing impen should protect you from these guileful assaults

Mudballs are quite dodgable. I dodged a number of them in Skywatch this year. You can line of sight them quite easily, just a nearby NPC is enough to interfere with targeting, and as such their effective range is not that far.

they already took away the Ultimate points from dodging them between combats

I have friends who quit because they got mudballed.

You could be banned from the game if someone tells you to stop mudballing and you don't stop.

I faithfully believe that players throwing balls of mud all over the place has contributed to the deterioration of game and server performance.

All that dirty mud carrying bacteria and viruses...... can’t be good for anyone or anything. And think about it.....is performance in Cyrodiil really laggy? Or did you get some mud in your eye which led to a bacterial infection which has made the world seem like it is stuttering?

Perhaps the inclusion of conjunctivitis eye drops in the forthcoming PVP event crates will fix everything.

You need to slot the new "Reflect Mudshield" ability in the new "Mud Assault" line. It reflects Mudballs back to the Thrower with ten times the force it was thrown. Works well! You can knock Players off ledges and Keeps with it!

If you animation cancel and use roll dodge, you can return mudball fire before your attacker has a chance to react. I watched a youtube tutorial with great tips for maximizing mudball offense/defense. The only thing is you'll have to farm a few DLC dungeons for the right equipment, and the Ayrenn's Chagrin helm has less than a 2% drop rate, which honestly sucks. I hope they improve the drop rate in a future update, as it's the only monster set in-game that grants a a full 60 second immunity to mudballs in PVP AND PVE, with Auto Shower.

I did read some gossip that ZOS was going to add the set to the crown store for purchase. Not sure how to feel about that.

has anyone tried to use them to break up bot groups? Hit the bots enough times and they'll lag too far behind the leader to get any benefit (maybe even able to force them to get lost or stuck on terrain).

I think so, the consumable version not the momento of course. But as stated above, getting a target lock on someone will be difficult, more so in Cyrodiil. I remember having to be almost on top of the other player, and not sure it registers on the other player's side. Could be lag too, I don't know.
