Steed Mundus should also increase mount move speed

It would be a nice boost seeing as how the bonus from the old Ward of Cyrodiil set got removed. Also it fits the name quite nicely. Steed is still a pretty awesome Mundus, but an increase to mounted movement speed in addition to the existing bonuses would be cool, and not too overpowered I think.

For sure. This would be a great perk for Cyrodiil.

As long as it doesn't nerf the stats on it already to compensate

Talking about the stone, and I updated my post to reflect that. As far as I know the stone only increases player movement speed, not player mounted movement speed.

Mundus stones are for toons, not the toons mount. There is a different system for training up your mounts.....that's why this suggestion doesn't make much sense to me. And, we need all mounts to be capped at roughly the same speed to keep groups bunched up too.

Actually if you want to get technical, there isn't. Riding training for speed, carry capacity and stamina are skills of the rider, not the mounts.

Otherwise every single mount would need 180 days of training to reach maximum level.

I have seen the blurs they call mounts zipping past my 60 speed sprinting mount.

With the speed buffs already available, why would there be any need for more?

We should also be able to mount up in housing instances.

I would argue that a mount would only be affected by the steed mundus if the mount were born under the steed (not sure if animals have birth signs in the lore though). If the person riding the mount were born under the steed, then the person's speed should be naturally greater, not the mount's just because the person is riding it. The person has the naturally better physique (?), not the mount.

Not saying that I'm against this idea though. It doesn't have to make perfect sense to be implemented imo

won't matter, since with rapids, you'll only be able to hit 200% speed cap anyway.

Unnecessary change in my opinion, there are other issues to fry.
