✭✭It’s like adding insult to injury. To have an encore PvP event without even TRYING to fix the performance in Cyrodill. Mid year SUCKED. The only reason I really still play this game is pvp. I didn’t do New Life. I PVPED. GEEZE just let me pvp in your broken mess of a game in peace!3 -

If this is the first opportunity to get berries, then what's going to be the mechanic to get tickets? Complete one of the war missions?(Scout, Bounty, War, Battle, Scrolls) Or would one of the settlement dailies count? Would be a pain for New PvP players to reliably complete one of the war missions and only DC and EP have mostly reliable access(as long as they control their home keeps) to a settlement that can't be controlled by another faction.
All of the events so far, the way to get a ticket was mostly easy.
Witches - Kill one final boss, just about anywhere.(world, delve, dungeon(group and public), quest, trial, dark anchor, arena, and geyser.)
Clockwork City - Complete any one CWC daily
Undaunted - Kill final boss in any group dungeon

✭Traditionally, when games do these types of abnormal events it’s because they are looking into doing some type of testing...sooooo here’s hoping they Are finally getting around to doing some improvements...

Well, you get double AP from BGs during Midyear Mayhem. I don't recall from the PTS if there was a way to earn event tickets from BGs or not.0 -

No. I did pvp in WoW, on a pvp server, in a friend's guild. I hated it. I was there because the friend wanted me to try it. I did - I stuck it out for 9 months.
I HATE PVP. I'm not doing it ever again.0 -

I never get this nor the salt of people fighting each other. All those years playing things like Mario Cart and Madden; all were PVP technically. And all were done against friends sitting right next to you as you had to use a split screen. I guess I just lived with it so dont know any better.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭I never played stuff like that. I've only played RPGs (SPMR) and MMOs (WoW, RIFT, ESO) since I quit pencil and paper RP in the late 70s. I have no interest in fighting other "real people" - my entire involvement in games is RPGs (beginning with Stonegate in 1984, going on to SSI Gold Box games from 1985, then to BG1, NWN.... and many others in the decades since).
RP is where I live. Computer games are great because I'm not trying to find other like-minded people then get them together somewhere in real time: really difficult these days; husband is NOT interested, and the fact that the others interested are usually young and male really gets him going; that's on him, but I'm the one dealing with that fallout - the leftovers of a 42 year marriage and a husband with NO imagination, where my imagination is active, fertile, and makes me money with novels.... which I might add, husband doesn't understand either! Then there's the situational difficulties: I live an 80 mile round trip from the only viable RP tabletop community - and for the most part, I wouldn't want to deal with them anyway.
So. I really thank the devs for this game. And Beth for TES (lordy, I hope I live to see TES VI, AND that it's not only in VR - let me give you a clue folks: if you have vertigo as I do.... you are NOT EVEN going to want to do VR....)
I really truly wish that computers like this one and games ditto had been available when I was 20. I missed so much....3 -
