Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

In your opinion, what should ZoS' number 1 priority be with ESO right now?

Rework of the ddos protection from akamai. I truly believe it is the culprit for most of the current lag and ping issues.

This x1000000, we shouldn't have to pay extra for a VPN just to get a decent stable ping from outside the states.

I have to use a VPN to get a "decent" ping of 110-130, otherwise my ping is 190-220 and very unstable with spikes over 300.

I live 2 hours away from the Dallas, TX data center that hosts the ZOS PC/NA server.

'What is' and 'What should' are two different things :D. Anyway, I feel that they are doing a decent job at most things nowadays. The number one priority should be more open communication lines related to bugs, this can be achieved by hiring a developer liaison. Nobody expects bugs to be fixed right away, but acknowledging that the said bug exists will go a long way in soothing people.

Their #1 priority should be to communicate where they want to take this game, what their plans are for ESO's future.
ZOS is already working on a new project, and the player base needs to be reassured that ESO will not simply be maintained with content DLC and cash shop items, but actually evolve with new and improved system updates.

My personal opinion ... is different from my community opinion.

For community I think we need a Community liaison to talk about bugs and performance issues. While not everything can be fixed right away. It makes me sad when compare this to fallout bug crisis or when someone say important bugs 4 years later haven't been fixed. Also someone should do a tally in what annoys you most about eso... and communication is there.

Now my persona one though ... make negate useful in pve >..> or give real group utlity to sorc healer ...not liquid lighting :(

Imo Negate is actually quite useful in PvE already.

To give a few examples of my personal experiences:
    - Maelstrom (e.g. 2nd arena boss round)
    - vDSA (3 stam dd score runs)
    - vHRC hm (negate Gargoyle aoe)
    - vMHK hm (stun werewolves at endboss)
    Characters worth mentioning:
    Daedrós - Magicka DK - Altmer - PvE & PvP - Emperor - IR - GH - TTT
Dragybor - Stamblade - Redguard - PvE (first char)
Yondaime Raikage - Stamsorc - Redguard - PvP
Zerg Overmind - Magblade - Altmer - PvE - GH
Yenari - Magsorc - Altmer - PvE - Flawless Conqueror
    Devoured-his-siblings - DK Tank - Argonian - PvE - Unchained
Valkyrja Valhalla - StamDK - Redguard - PvE
Hyperion der Obere - Magplar - Altmer - PvE
    Affa al'Dschinni - Stamplar - Orc - PvP
    Enjoys-the-slaughter - Templar Healer - Argonian - PvE
Hades Adamastos - Stamcro - Orc - PvE
Khaba the Cruel - Magsorc- Altmer - PvP
Hekate Ourania - Magcro - Atlmer - PvE - TTT
    Arenas: vDSA (~46k) - vMA (~586k)
    Trials: vAA hm - vHRC hm - vSO hm - vMoL hm (~161k) - vHoF hm (~218k) - vAS+2 (~114k) - vCR+3 - vSS hm - vKA hm

    Nerf Vampires & WW.
Both those lines get gazillion benefits and no drawbacks, especially in PVE.
Quadruple the damage dealt to both by FG abilities, and make FG unaccessible to Vampires & WW as is oxymoron.

Is stupid to have more vampires & werewolves at the moment, than normal characters.

    Umm, cry more?

It's an additional benefit that you DON'T have to do. Anyways, please uninstall.

The number one priority that ZOS should have is to fire all those people without inventiveness that are related to the basic idea of the game, this includes the chief who coordinates everything and not just the programmers who deal with the various sectors.
The game has great potential but is stuck to an idea that is no longer good, in the game you need many small improvements to not make it boring.

Do something about the lag. It has become ridiculous. The game lags when starting up. How is that even possible? Gets hung up on the Zenimax online screen EVERYTIME. Started with this latest update I believe. It lags when you use wayshrines. For about 10-20 seconds at that. Just trying to move is an effort. This is not fun.

That sounds like a file issue, try a repair. I have no hang up on the zeni screen

I can hold off on content since there's some things I havent got around to do. I have a small list of things I'd like to see fixed for 2019. Fix the weapon swap bug, Sprint bug, server issues and fine tune the CP tree a little more. There happens to be quite alot that goes wrong in such a massive game, but i'd like for majority of it to work as designed! Say like certain mobs not glitching through walls (gargoyles in HRC) and I recently ran into a bug when I heavy attacked an enemy and they blocked it my character sank through the ground under the map and into an ocean. I was in Alik'r when that happened too! I would like for one patch to "try and fix some basic things in the game. Like notifying new players to feed their horse EVERYDAY! Some basic UI improvements to make things friendlier and explain certain aspects of the game would help too. Some things in ESO just aren't friendly to new players. Overall I love ESO and only want what's best to make for an even better experience for the new or experienced pkayers. Some things may just be me nagging, but I only want the game to get better :)

    No particular order:

    1. Remove all pets (yes, Winged Twilight are the worst) from cities. Just implement the "in water" functionality. At the very least, make it a user selectable option (but include dogs, cats, griffons, and for sure bears and wings). Letting player pets impede the banking &/or writ process is just unnecessarily stressful.

    2. Remove all player bankers & vendors as above. Sure, seeing 50 player bankers in Alinor's crafting area is somewhat of a deal breaker from an immersion perspective ... but it's the added lag that's deadly. Sure, keep bankers visible when grouped. Otherwise? Keep them invisible.

    3. Bank space has become unmanageable again. There must be a way to mitigate the "start a toon; start banker; unload toon inventory into bank; play; search and reload toon's stuff; exit" that is so unbelievable frustrating and inefficient. Yes, I have ESO+; Yes, I have a Guild bank I created for storage; yes I have a second account; yes, I abuse the mail RTS system; yes, I frequently go through all toons and toss out overland junk; impen I'll never use; etc.; and yes, I have a problem. Still. I beg you. Do the above for 15 crafters doing daily writs and your head will almost certainly explode. At the very least, let us toss inventory/armor into our purchased houses. You make money, we have less of a problem ... win win. Optionally? Change the existing 8 house storage crates to 1,000. Can't be THAT tough to do, no?

    4. Rebalance Jewelry Craft writs. Just use Writworthy and MM to remove any JC writ that exceeds the most expensive "cost per writ voucher" of any other craft. Wait, that would literally remove them all. Pretty much anything in the sub-60wv range (the most commonly received) will cost 3,000'ish gold per voucher. The only players that would make those are the mathematically-challenged. Make them blue quality, perhaps? Increase the refine rate for blue, purple and (a bit) for gold mats so that a "success" generates 2. Jewelry writs are fundamentally broken. I don't know if "getting a JC writ" reduces my chances of getting a viable one or not, but I honestly cringe when I get them, for that reason.

    5. You've tried hard to scale new players to do undaunted dungeons. Real hard. So hard it's changed Cyrodiil balance. How about adding a button that the user can select to prevent CP300 or less players (CP160?) from joining a pug dungeon group? The person using the button would obviously have to wait longer. Right now, it's infuriating. Three CP810+ players doing Vet WGT (or harder) get into a group with a CP10 dps. The lower player is generally booted; angering them, and angering the higher players. How can this possibly be good for the game? Let us over-ride it, to our own detriment, if you choose to continue to grant them access to things beyond their level's ability. Yes, I can already anticipate the "I'm level 3 and solo vWGT" replies. There will always be exceptions.

    6. While you're doing 5, please add a button to let players who HAVE DLC content to "de-select the ability to do vet DLC dungeons" for the daily vet random. Some of those dungeons are blasted difficult, and it would be nice to have the ability to select whether to join them or not. (Yes, they're wonderful for some players; no question). Note in fact: this is simply granting the same access for vet random dailies that NON-DLC owners get for free! (or more precisely, for the privilege of NOT paying you money!!)

    Thanks in advance.

    Adding veteran difficulty to questing.

Would help not only gameplay but also make skill choices etc feel more meaningful again. Imagine having to think about your gear when playing a quest...

PvP players will per definition never be satisfied, so, well, do whatever there, I already have my emperor costume B)
