I would make it where you could pickup all nine quests at the same time so you could just go do them all and turn them all in together. Same with the Murkmire prologue quests.

    1. No more achievements that depend on your luck with the RNG. It’s wrong that some people have to basically grind the entire length of the event or pay high gold prices to other players to get the achievement. While others get lucky and just get to cash in. Events should be laid back and fun. Not grindy.

    2. Chain the quests together, given from each zone when you complete that zone’s quest. Ending with Breda.

    A quest for the Imperials.

Seems to be unfair to assume they do not celebrate something - even if it doesn't seem like much of a celebration to the rest of us no.

This may not effect everyone, but the quest in Rawl-ka makes an already laggy over-populated city even more laggy. Loading at the wayshrine there takes so long during the festival for me. I would move that quest to a different city in Reapers March :) Same quest, just in a different city. It's no fun to pick locks in lag.

I’d like it if the quests were expanded. More to do in one area, for more rewards.

For example, what if you made simple food with the fishing quest and handed it to three npcs in that area. Three more boxes, and not as far to run. Or the dancing ones you could dance in front of certain bored npcs. Mudball one would have more specific target npcs. Yeah, I would like more to do in these things so you get more while enjoying the specific areas more.

I would eliminate the grind by making all rewards account-capped. I don't think anyone enjoys the act of completing these quests on 15 characters per day, but do it for the loot. I think that's giving players a noose to hang themselves with as in they are encouraged to do something that, by itself, is extremely tedious.

I would introduce new events each year. I would have fewer, more interesting events. I would implement an overarching quest that results in a special reward.

I have not participated in any of the holiday events this year because they're all boring and encourage more boredom via grinding. This content is worse than tv -- and I hate tv.

The quests are stale, boring, and goofy. The repetition sucks for me personally. I don't find them amusing. Running to a random tavern to dance, or burping at other players are simple minded, childish, and I don't quite understand the whole festival even reading the dialogue. It's just not a fun festival. I would change the quests to fresh new ones, better written with actual fun tasks, group or solo. People only do this for the XP and whatever the reward is. No one seems to actually enjoy the content because imo, it's dumb.

I did this event for the first time as I only joined in April - My thoughts are

Events like the fishing were ridiculous in as much as too many people at the same spot which resulted in a hard slog to
obtain the required fish. Running from fishing area to another fishing spot was frankly tedious!

Also timed events to gain an achievement wasn't really fair on newbies ie: the lock picking one

Overall I found this event to be the most tedious one and as soon I got the required tickets I only did one event a day to get the mysterious box !

The life event boxes were mostly unrewarding which, for such a long grind, was very disappointing !

Just how many useless Rune boxes with the same old stuff in them is worth it ?

So all in all I would get the whole event revamped with less running around and slightly better rewards

Add a winter themed dungeon/battleground where one half of the players turns into snowmen and the other half into goblins who have to fight each other with snow-mudballs and dance through fire without melting. It could be Sheogoraths very own winter festival or something. No, I'm serious.

Guild quests as well. Maybe a riddle that leads you to several places where you have to fight snow monsters that can drop festival decorations.

I don't think the festival is really enjoyable as it is: the quests are simple but require a lot of travelling, so starting players/characters are penalized both by lack of active wayshrines in the required maps (this can be eased with guildmates, houses or just by asking in zone chat) and by lack of mount's speed training (I did the quests with my main and two alts, and they took more or less double the time with the latters).

I endured it to get the charity writs and then did a single daily for the mistery box on the last days.

Also, with the double experience during the witches' festival I took my main from level 33 to about 100 CPs, while with this event my alts took a couple of levels each and my main no more than 15 CPs

    This.
I did a host of other things during the festival to break the monotony (both in and out of game), but it's really easy to burn out with this kind of grind.

I think the event was good and well organised but I found the rng on the writs very off-putting.
I would prefer to see something more deterministic. For example, doing all 9 quests on a single character in a day gives a writ and 12 writs needed. Meaning 108 quests in total but at least you are guaranteed the skin. I easily did over 100 quests and only finished up with 4 writs while many others got 12 writs in 2 days! ZOS's rng is always too extreme in its upper and lower limits and it can be very frustrating for players to have rewards locked behind this system. More deterministic methods are far more preferable in my opinion. Like the Indrik... 48 events tickets = bingo!

Given that mementos exist for essentially all the consumable items. Just remove the consumables from the game.

I've had plenty of new players in guilds asking what to do with them, they are cluttering up guild stores. They serve no function since the memento exists.

Also, I'd like to see a lower drop rate on all frequent motifs and recipes from events if that character has already acquired it. It isn't quite a novelty when it reaches spam level of quantity.

    For instance
If you character has already read Hollowjack Belt and you open a skull that contains Hollowjack Belt you have a 50% chance of it being a HJ belt or a x3 serving of style traits for HJ instead. Still worthwhile farming the event, but the player does not end up with the clutter at the end, the guild stores will also thank you for it.

Good idea, only issue is that Dune is an quest city who is overun by daedra unless you done the zone main quest.
You could use the village next the the sleek creek mansion or Hadrian caravan if it had some guards.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

1 quest per character per day. Decrease drop rate of motifs, as there's a major flood of them.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Adding new rewards for one. It's been years and we're still getting the same stuff. By this point pretty much all the Runeboxes go for less than 1k.

Remove the consumable items that are usable versions of the things we use during the quests (Fire-Breather's Buns, the single mud balls, the swallowing swords, etc). Does *anyone* keep these? Maybe a few RPers do but as an RPer myself, I've never once seen another person using these things ICly. They're there to artificially pad the boxes; replace them with things that are actually useful, like mats or a small number of AP/TV or something.

Let us either pick up all the quests at once to cut down on the absurd amount of traveling, or make it so Breda will cycle through the quests on a set rotation if you're only wanting to do a handful. I absolutely hate the Orc quest, but I can't tell you how many times Breda tries to give it to me 20+ times in a row when all I'm trying to get is one of the shorter, easier quests.

New quests for all races. Breda even has a line that says they can change from year to year. I just don't have a clue where they could put an Imperial quest.

No more zero value "rewards". For it to be a reward, it has to be worth something. Most of the stuff from the NLF boxes is just destroyed. How is that a reward?

Maybe have each quest give a specific type of reward that is appropriate for the quest's race. For example, Bosmer quests could give senche cub pets or Bosmer style furnishing plans. Cap it at one quest for each race per account per day.

I would prefer something of value but I'd rather get nothing than tons of worthless junk.
