@Savos_Saren I remember dueling you when One Tamriel released, you are a great MagDK. What build are you running in Murkmire (if you don’t mind sharing)?

@Valykc
Thanks! Honestly- it depends on the role I’m playing in Cyrodiil. I have 15 characters (all classes, both stam and mag).
If you dueled me on my main (Savos Saren)- I am wearing:
2 Valkyn
5 Innate
5 Silks of the Sun
1h/1m/5l setup. SnB front bar and Inferno backbar.
This is my Jack of All Trades build, though. You have to be very, very careful running two damage sets (because of sustain).
The forums may tar and feather me- but I don’t run Fossilize. Instead- I use Talons on my SnB bar and Stone Giant on my backbar.
You can get up to 28k resistances in light armor with this setup.
I accidentally clicked 3 of the same. But really I am running 2 protective and 1 spell damage. The Shackle/Innate/Skoria set combo is very strong on a DK. And i am having a ton of success with dual sword front bar and ice staff back.

Yeah innate seems to pair well with DK since you use so many class skills! I think I’ll have to craft myself a set haha

Yeah, I was running Sun for a while, but Innate pairs better with DK healing skills. On my current build, the only skill it doesn't pair with is the Frost blockade on my backbar. But that is mostly for the root and status effects than it is for damage.

Just some info about infused SD and bloodthirsty.
Infused SD does not give much more damage than just having arcane, especially in a CP environment. I do not think that it is worth it when you can have almost the same amount of damage and healing AND have more resources compared to arcane. Infused trait is good for recovery glyphs and for medium armor WD glyphs.
Bloodthirsty seems nice but does not help a DK much unless fighting a high hp target. I did some calculations a while a go and found that running arcane vs bloodthirsty, there was only a significant bump in kill time for high hp, heavy armor targets. For just about anyone running medium or light, your time to kill decreases due to the damage you lose until the target is down to the execute threshold.
