Does jewely crafting bypass leaderboard rewards?

For the longest time, i've noticed that deconstructing gold items that I get from the weekly leaderboards has always given me a gold upgrade material. I just deconned two gold rings from the vDSA and vMA leaderboards and got no chromium grains. Is this intended?

Grains are not 100% upon decon. It was just typical RNG, and being a leaderboard award is a coincidence.

I’ve deconned several gold rings from leaderboards - getting a chromium about 50% of the time.

Decon each gold jewellery , we have about 50% to receive 1 grain , refine 10 grains we receive 1 plating , 4 plating to gold 1 part jewellery .

This is how the system run , if I have bad luck , I gotta run about 80 times VHRC to get all required materials to gold 1 favourite jewellery .

Claglorn pug VHRC group normally use about 1 hour to complete ( not including gathering time ) , no bugs , no DC , no stupid moves , pretty smooth , just few death , total 80 hours , I play ESO 2 hours a day , so I have to use about one and half month ...

You only have a 50% chance (if not lower) of getting a temper from deconstructing an item. Doesn't matter which item it is.
