Discrimination/Bias? Or WTH

Me? I'm a gamer, have been for many years. I do NOT like to complain, I like to play the game. However, when there IS an actual issue in a game, I expect that people that created said game, to actually DO something, to actually RESPOND. Is it something I did? Something I missed? Something I'd be more than happy to adapt to, if only someone would TELL ME.

Making this short will be extremely difficult, but I will do my best.

I have sent in 7 Reports, fairly recently, to Zos. They are mostly with an issue I continue to have, yet no one will help me with it, nor explain why it's happening to me.

Of those 7 reports, (there are many others, from almost the time I began playing, w/issues from my initial character being stuck in Coldharbour, which took them almost a YEAR to solve, and for which, I was give a few xp scrolls...for what, i don't know, I level too fast as it is), ZERO have been answered. That's NONE. ZIP. NADA. I did get one automated...response? back, that only said, "Waiting on Agent", I still have it. It STILL says that.

These issues, to me, are major. From not having gotten, in the past almost 7 months, ONE Master Writ, that contained more than 5-8 writ vouchers, in the 3 MAIN crafting jobs, Blacksmithing, Clothier, and Woodworking, to only getting 1, that's O-N-E, Chromium Dust, after refining over a THOUSAND, Platinum, (approx 800, and a mix of 250 of the others).

The time before, on the platinum refining, I did over 1600 dusts, 950 of platinum, and a mix of others, and I only got 3 Chromium Dusts. At this rate, to craft 3 pieces of jewelry, up to "gold", would take me over 8..that's EIGHT, YEARS.

The last report I filed, that actually received a response, was about this writ issue, as well as refining. Then, I was having more issues with the non-jewelry refining, and I'd not gotten far enough into jewelry, to really figure I'd get any higher writs...(and at the rate I was getting refining materials, that was a good thing). They still didn't bother to answer my questions, other than to say "RNG is, basically, infallible", just keep going, it will "even out".

As far as the refining? it got worse. I did, however, after that response, receive my first Jewelry Master Writ, it was worth 260! The highest I ever got on my regular crafts, was 109, once, in over 2 years. Then I got another Jewelry Master writ, 275, then 144.

Then I finally got the joke. They must be doing this on purpose. There's no way I could make these writs, because the Chromium drop rate, during refining, was damn near ZERO. So, in 8 YEARS, maybe I could make ONE of those. (Although, I'd bought and refined, since jewelry was brought in, and I WAS able to make ONE of those, it wiped me out, in almost every way). And, that was when the refining died. And the Master Writs, for anything more than 8, which, I've only received ONE for 8, the majority are 5-6. Now, to get enough writ vouchers? When things in the story I wish to buy, can be up to 1250 writ vouchers? Will, once again, take YEARS!

What the hell good is being a "Master Crafter", if this is the case? To buy the items? Would cost millions of gold, to make a couple rings and a necklace. All of my three main crafts are completed. Yet, I never get anything more than 5-6, for going on 7 MONTHS>

I have ALL of my responses, if/when I get them, and ALL of the reports I filed. I have pictures of the last 4 refinements, showing the totals. That took me some time to figure out how the hell to do it, since I asked them, and they never responded to that, either.

All of this, seems anyways, to circulate around two time periods, that are almost exact. The one response, where I suddenly got Jewelry master writs, for huge, un-doable amounts, and me linking up my twitter account, with Zos.

I believe what's happening? Is intentional. There is only ONE way I can prove this. But I'm guessing i may not be the only one, going through this insane nightmare. As many seem to be saying, this game is becoming unplayable. Seriously.

I can't advance, I can't make the items I worked so damn hard for, to make. In addition, even though I have the fastest internet one can get, the game is now constantly lagging out, dropping, freezing-up, and LOADING, non-stop. I'll zone into an area, go, seriously, about 20 feet, and it will load again. When I zone in, I'm watching 2-3 "This may be an unusually long load time", after 20 feet, I get to watch ANOTHER 2-3 of those. WTH is that? I NEVER had this issue before.

Is Zos, operating out of bias, and discrimination, because they disagree with my views they saw on Twitter or other social media?? I've NEVER experienced anything like this, in ANY MMO game. Lag? sure. Kick-outs, sure, slow periods, yes, usually short in duration. I have NEVER seen a RNG, operate in the manner this BS has. EVER.

I've NEVER been completely and totally ignored before, either, when doing nothing more, than trying to figure out wth is going on. I bought some crowns today. I love the game, it COULD be good, if they've only DO SOMETHING. It feels, to me, as if they are just letting the game DIE, and taking action against those, they may disagree with, politically.

I HAVE THE EVIDENCE. I have all the reports, all the NON-responses. If I can't get answers, and damn soon, I will see if my attorney, CAN. I never thought gaming would come to something such as this. But RNG's do NOT ACT IN THIS MANNER. They are RIGHT about that. So, they ONLY conclusion I can reach? Is that this is being done INTENTIONALLY to those, Zos either dislikes, or disagrees with, in the REAL WORLD.

I paid for my game, like everyone else. I pay for ESO Plus. I HELP people in the game, when I can. I NEVER, NOT ONCE, EVER let any views of my own, infect my game-play.

It seems that Zos, on the other hand, DOES

So, this would be a bad time to point out that upgrading jewelry is the least significant improvement your character can see?

Also, do your refining in your house, and make sure you have the passives purchased. I've refined about 20k platinum and have pulled down a lot of dust from doing so.

    A few questions to start:

-Do you have the refining passives of your desired profession unlocked and put a skill point in them?
-the chances of master writs increase the more traits and the more full motifs you know. Do you have those researched? How many full motifs do you know on that character?

This game has horrendous RNG. The random calculator is off or something because there is no average. One player can refine a half dozen stacks of dust and not get a single Chromium grain - then another player will get 2 per stack. Some players got all their charity writs in the fist couple of days - others are still trying to scrape 12 of them together even now toward event's end.

It wouldn't surprise me if ZoS influences the RNG somehow - providing a smaller field of numbers for players who - for example - purchase often from the crown store etc. But as I have no real evidence to support that theory; it's mostly just a conspiracy at this point.

But I guess what I'm saying is that I sympathize with your RNG issues. Sometimes players can just get ridiculously "unlucky". That being said: this isn't really an issue you can expect customer service to aid you with. It's a game design issue and not a bug or some kind of technical difficulty.

That would be hard to prove. How can you say luck was manipulated and you aren't just unlucky? Still >.>

Wouldn't it be nice if customer service was better then bot responses.

Looks like I get your mats when I refine raws. Because I'm lucky.

Maybe you get the dungeon drops I'm looking for, because I'm grinding some of them 100s of times.

Or Wrobel trolls both of us.

Stuck in coldharbour for a year. If only you could have just made another character...

Bad rng? Yeah keep sending tickets.

You’re extremely dramatic. The fact is the mats for jewelry are low- are hard to come by- are expensive- but you have taken that way too far.

I don’t think ZOS cares about your Twitter. Maybe make an appointment with a counselor or a psychiatrist- may be beneficial. No ones out to get you...

. They still didn't bother to answer my questions, other than to say "RNG is, basically, infallible", just keep going, it will "even out".

This is a recurring theme. Their RNG seems to be pretty poorly designed, as people that have luck tend to have it continuously and people that do not tend to not have it continuously.

In our group of players that tend to play together on a daily basis we already noticed that. It's always the same people that had drop luck not only with bosses and chests, etc. but also with crown crates. One of the girls is basically getting a mount in 7 or 8 out of 10 batches of free crown crates. The chances for the crown crate "miracle"are somewhere in the neighborhood of 6.5*10^(-13) - that is 0.000000000065% - given how few free crates we get with each bathc. If you factor in her loot luck outside the crown store this number becomes even smaller. And tbh, the number is so low, even if we got the drop chance for mounts in crown crates wrong by a few percentage points, it would not launch these outcomes into the real of "likely outcomes".

In addition, the ratio of good drops vs bad drops seems to be relatively stable for each account. So there seems to be a account specific factor to their RNG algorithm and it seems to weigh quite heavily.

To me it seems, you are one of those with a highly unfavorable value for this (or these) account specific factor(s). And the bad news is, I doubt ZOS will do anything about that, if that is indeed the cause.
