Did ZOS stop giving the discounted/free skill respecs after major skill updates... or?

This most recent patch finally broke my build and I had to respec both my champion points and my skills. The 3k for my champion points wasn't bad, but I was pretty miffed about having to pay 19k to change skills I didn't really ever want to change. So what gives, ZOS? Are we not gonna be given any leniency in this parts anymore?

    They usually do If a bunch of skills are changed. It's like 1 gold per point.

    They don't do it for every update, and when they do, they announce it. Murkmire did not get one, IIRC.

    It works the same as it always did. You buy the opportunity to change ALL your morphs, even if you only change one of them. Its just that now you dont have to reset all your mirphs whether you wanted to change them or not.

    It works the same as it always did. You buy the opportunity to change ALL your morphs, even if you only change one of them. Its just that now you dont have to reset all your mirphs whether you wanted to change them or not.

    I did notice that part at least.

    I was expecting they did more with it. Ah well.

    Even if they do, it's usually for a limited time after the patch drops (I think in the past it's been a week or two). I don't think they did it after Murkmire, but I don't remember specifically. It should say in the patch notes if they did.

    But when they do it is only for a week or two. OP has waited far to long.

    2k / morph would be fair IMO

    The point however is, that you pay for an Unlimited Morph change, so if you remorph like 20 skills, then its way more worth it than for one skill.

    However IMO they should make that it tracks how many changes you made, and then setting the Price.

    It has been several updates with many changes to many builds

    The last reduction of changing skills cost was for PC only because of a WW bug (BS that consolr did not get it)

    They should reduce the cost EVERY time they CHANGE ANY SKILL

    I have heard no official statement on this topic. Did I miss some info?
    How do you know they actually stopped that and didn't just decide to forego it for december, to resume in the new year?

    Andhow, the respec costs are so minor compared to what one can drop into the outfit system... I really see no reason to complain. And I like it better then all the "mandatory reassigmning of all your skillpoints" we had in the beginning...

    Zos made a QoL change. Not a cost change. It is much easier now since we do not have to put points back into each more or skill. Just the ones we wanted to change.

    For those of us that have 300+ SP on characters it is a great change.

    It's not like they've been giving me a free motif page every day for the past week that sells for more than the skill respec costs. If that were the case, I could just take one of those motif pages, sell it and call it a day. But noooooOOOoo, I had to come here and *** about it.
