Was running random and suddenly everything is teleporting.

Even ESO site gets problems in cmd ping.

GuildWars2 site ping is stable despite both being in NA.

Edit:
Seems fixed now.

Interesting. 24 hours ago, I go hit with big lag spikes while venturing around Rivenspire. Ping went from 240 - 999. Both times, right in a middle of battles with npc's. This was on PC/NA.

Same here. PC NA. Constant 999+ ping for the past hour. Couldn't even finish the lockpicking New Life quest with such lag.

i'm having bad luck, too. xbox/na here. internet traffic reports are showing a bunch of nodes down in the northeast/great lakes area, as well as sporadically across the country, including high-traffic areas like Colorado and Cali. it looks unusual, completely disconnected at so many points.

i'd bet some of those are common pathways for ESO (for example, Pampa is worthless right now, which is obviously a concern).

i actually came to the forums to see an Xbox Service Interruption banner, but this explains why it's so much more widespread.

Been getting lag spikes more frequently each patch since Horns of the Reach. Base ping has been going up since Summerset; used to be 150, now a constant 250-300.
This is the only online game I have issues with, and they just get worse.
It's at the point these days where it can spike just collecting skyshards etc in open world.

Did we skip a maint because of the holidays? The servers always get like this when they do that.

Same problem, latency 999+, I'm playing from EU on the US server. It's unplayable today, thought it was just me. All I could barely manage was the New Life daily. I usually have a (whopping, but more normal) latency of +/- 217. EU server is normal.

I've played on the PC NA server from the UK for the last hour without any issue.

Interesting that gw2 has had a stable server for the last 6 years? And zero downtime so everyone from ALL parts of the world can play.
    Amazing

Only ever experienced bad lag in gw2 once. When their servers were under ddos attack. Way back in 2012.

Now only if that game had controller support. Or better yet be on Xbox and Playstation as well.
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"

Don't know if relevant, but Century Link (major US telecom) has a lot of issues today (and maybe in the past few days, but they may not have said so). Don't know if they have much backbone presence, but it's the only serious issue I know of at this point.

Now, that said, after I got home from town about noon, I got back in game and haven't had any issues. I live in UT, US. I have satellite as my only connection, and it does not use anything provided by CentLink - from my house, it hits satellite, then Level Three Denver, and then goes through Akamai to AT&T then the Texas server.

Mate, if it was on xbone or ps4, i sure as hell would not have brought eso for $20.

I did try mapping all keybinds to the ps4 controller (via 3rd party app), but there was just to many keybinds to set.... Got close though

I think i remember that, even then it wasnt that bad compare to what we face in eso for the last 3 years
