Honesly, I’d do away with the temper system entirely if it were my call (which it isn’t). Replace it with a more meaningful and nuanced crafting system instead. For example, let players customize hilt, pommel, and blade for swords; could add things from bleed damage to faster swing speed to chance to stagger on heavy attacks. Such a significant overhaul won’t happen, but it’s an ESO 2 dream...
Agreed. I don't gold anything but weapons because the differences are negligible. I even have the mats, but I don't even bother with it.
