About the silver bolts

Why isn't there any official response to this issue? Whats going to happen with this bug? Is it so difficult to make announcement about it? It is clearly a bug. Priority for hotfix is clearly the motif values to sell to vendors. Great..

I set my hope to that Z-max have seen the wonderful effect the change have had and decided to let it stay regardless if it was unintentional or not.

got hit for 2293 last night with Silver bolts ability, OK my Rank 12 NB is a Vamp but jeez close to insta kill is not good in any PvP game.

Everything in the game should have a chance to be countered and defended against. Nothing short of a sneak attack should be a guaranteed hit.

The fear that would be emanate from a vamp encounter for all but the most highly trained individuals would justify the chance at missing this.

I would even condone a Vampire Hunter skill - line or passive that would help offset the fear, and a Radiate Fear Vampire passive/active that would be the opposite.

The argument that vamps should be feared and loathed would, by definition, make the encounter not on the same level as the average bandit or monster.

No ability should be able to insta-kill a player like that. None.

This exploit/bug needs to be fixed immediately.

@Merlin13KAGL the silver bolts ability has %5 to trigger a bonus damage to vampires/werewolves allowing people to hit up to 2000 damage or even more. This %5 is at 100% at the moment. Sneak, detect vampire, silverbolt, instakill. cool...

Not a bug or exploit silverbots does have a 5% chance to hit a vamp player like a brick and one shot them, before this patch which might have increased the chance not meaning to so that might be why people are complaining or what not I've one shotted vamps with it on a crit for over 20k.

Im EP and I have a buddy who has a DC toon so I tested this last night with him just for *** a giggles on Bloodthorn, took me 17 shots with it to get a 4212 damage hit on him and one shot him.

You want to be a Vamp or WW, be ready to get owned by fighter guild abilities it's part of the game.

Now my Silverbots is not morphed so I can't say if maybe a morph of it or both morps are bugged but at least for me on him, it averaged 500ish damages each hit till that one hit did it's proc.

Hit someone for 3k, had someone hit me for 4k last night. Get it out of this game, being able to 1 shot certain players in pvp with a zero set up ability is *** and anyone that thinks a game should have a feature like this is just as bad as the DK's that quit after they were nerfed so they wouldn't be able to solo large groups of players in cyrodil. I think it's super that some people chose not to be a vampire or werewolf, I myself am not a Sorcerer or a Nightblade, that being said I don't think I would approve of zenimax putting an ability in the game that one shots Sorc's and NB's.

Ya it has been so viable in pvp that everyone has been using it in Cyrodil since release.
