Make Mount Size Customizable Please

Hello,

Please let us choose the size of our mounts. As it is now, smaller character models (woodelfs etc.) have smaller mount sizes. I want to ride a tiny mount as a high-elf whose minimum size can't be made as tiny as a wood-elf's when creating a new character.

Why? I guess if they tweak the race passives it might make races irrelevant.

    Yes, because that makes sense.

With everything Zos needs to do and the QoL requests that have been made I see this as a very low priority. The in game benefit is so small compared to whatever the required effort this change would require.

Mount size scales with character height. As for making a High Elf that's shorter than a Bosmer... no? Why?

    Yes.

I purchased these mounts for my Bosmer to look fierce and intimidating, not to look like “my little pony” next to a pink princess dressed duchess personality Altmer on the same mount!!

Why do the mounts scale down so much????????????????? Reeeeeeeeee

At a guess? To avoid clipping, without your character also looking (too) ridiculous.

I agree that mounts should not scale. I want my Bosmer riding a real horse, not a pony. It seems to me it would be pretty simple to simply remove the size scaling. That said, it might take a bit of character tweaking by ZOS to avoid thigh clipping with small chars on large horses. Horses also scaled down with small characters in Oblivion; I modded my small elf's horse to be full size and did not have any clipping problems though.

History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.

This is not a simple task because devs would have to change all riding animations. For example, if you decrease the size of the mount and the character stays the same, its legs will be in the air from both sides of the mount.
It's too much work to redo that stuff.
