Solution: Grandmaster's Crafting Stations
Deconstructing an item set piece at these tables forever gives you the ability to craft that piece.
So for example, you finally get that elusive Winterborn Ring from vMA but don't plan to use the set for a while, you can go deconstruct it at your Jewelry GCS. You get your inventory space back and can just re-craft the ring in any trait later.
The interface looks just like a normal item set crafting table except with a combo/drop-down box to select the desired item set. One GCS per profession, purchased for 1000 writ vouchers each.
Make it so @ZOS_RichLambert
Everyone saying "it's a you problem", and "you're hording", etc. If ZoS didnt release/nerf/change sets like crazy or nerf classes every other week resulting in changing metas it wouldn't be such an issue. Long time players have lots of gold sets, I probably have a good 300 writs, tons of jewelry, etc. Its not a hording issue, it's a game management issue.
Take 2 of my sorcs for example, characters I've played for years, after nerfmire guess what? I had to go out and pick up another 5-10 items because surviveability turned to *** with my previous gear. So what, I should just vendor my 2 previous gold sets, weapons, and jewelry?
You cant keep adding new sets, changing classes around knowing damn well it will result in gear changes, and not increase inventory space to accommodate.
There's a big difference between wanting to keep loads of stuff and needing to do so.

The grind for AY daggers would like to have a word with you.
I deconned numerous AY daggers before transmutation.
Now? If there is a chance a set will be made useful, or come 'into fashion' again, I keep a set.
I have yet to have a single AY dagger drop for me again.
I'm not getting caught in this situation again.
Please don't criticise hoarders. Every 3 months the Devs change the meta so you have to horde sets. Otherwise you have to farm it all again when the meta changes

This left out the key part of the sentence....I probably have a good 300 writs, tons of jewelry, etc. Its not a hording issue, it's a game management issue.
I get what Diminish was saying. I had accumulated a stack of treasure/resource maps. When I got them I would put them in the bank for later because I had other priorities but I wasnt getting back to them. My game management now is they go in a 30 limit chest and when limit is reached I do them. I have to do the same with writs.

I've got 15 girls, doing crafting writs on all of them, and running my main on as many of the event quests as possible with the doubled XP (mug plus Gold Coast scrolls) - because if I time it out just right, she'll be really close to 50 when the event is over....

That is some devotion. Good luck!!
First of all, this is NOT a f2p game, so you can't say of any f2p route or whatever!Max upgraded bank and mount for storage, plus bag space, on several alts should be more than enough if you choose to go the F2P route.
I would say yes to that and also more inventory space. I also have ESO+ and still struggle with all the storage available.
I don't quite understand all the negative posts here. What does it matter if someone requests more storage space ?
Taleof2Cities wrote: »Agreed more space needed but ZOS don't play this game so they don't know about this issue so it will never happen unless it goes to crown store to get more as that's the only thing they care about.
How you choose to play your characters isn’t anyone else’s problem ... especially not ZOS’s.
Just wanted to recap how much inventory space players actually have without the crafting bag ... since these kinds of threads get somewhat tiring:
- 15 characters with in-game gold or crown purchased bag upgrades (up to 140 each character) = 2,100 slots
- Mount bag space upgrades (15 mounts x 60) = 900 slots
- Personal bank space (with upgrades & ESO+) = 480 slots
- Home storage bins = 360 slots
Total: 3,840
Personal Guild Banks = 500 slots each (up to 2,500); limit of 5 guild banks
If a player doesn't have any personal guild banks, we're still approaching 3,900 inventory slots ... not including the crafting bag or stacked inventory.
So, the first question for any player feeling constricted on inventory ... have you hit 3,840 character and bank slots yet? Even without ESO+ you’d only subtract the double bank space (240 slots).
If you can't manage what you have in that allotment of inventory slots that's your own fault [shrug].

- another 100 bank space (+200 for Eso+)
- another 50 personal inventory space
This would help me a lot.
Or at least some kind of survey report bag and pvp sieges bag. I'd buy them with crowns.
With that argument we could run around with 50 inventory slots and 100 bank space. There is no objective limit when "hoarding" begins. Why should the current amount of inventory slots and bank space the optimal amount? And furthermore, what is bad about hoarding? If a player wants to hoard, let him. Furthermore, keep in mind that many players switch out different item sets. That is not actually hoarding. It's like a tank, who can switch out Alkosh for Plague Doctor, a Healer who can switch between Worm's Cult Raiments, Olorime, Jorvuld's Guidance and maybe some other set and combine them freely, not to mention Master staves, Monster sets etc.Juju_beans wrote: »But only for a while. Hoarders tend to hoard. Given more space you'd have that full up in no time and looking for more space.
...which is why they added those extra space benefits to ESO+ members, and sell homestead containers in the crown store!XxMissAlycexX wrote: »I think it has come to a point in the game where the citizens of Tamriel require more bank space to store their treasures...
That would work if the items didn't need immediate placement. Unplaced furnishings should be able to go into 'housing storage' in the meantime.thatlaurachick wrote: »For those asking about furniture storage, it's call a "storage home." Only needs about 400 slots, not that expensive. Frees up chests for more stuff.
