Is there a chat channel for each alliance or is it all just zone chat? If it is just zone chat, why haven't alliance channels been put in?

✭Each alliance is insulated from each others zone chats, so they are not shared, since before launch. However, if two players from opposing factions talk in their guild chat, it is common for all alliances. Also, if a player from AD logs in his DC alt, he can talk to DC all he wants, as he is now DC.Power level to CP160 in a week:

It had me confused when I was there because people kept talking about a group of this alliance or that alliance approaching somewhere or somethign, but a few times they mentioned a group that was my alliance and so it got me wondering it everyone was in the same chat0

Could be people communicating with other alliances via discord or whatever and then relaying info to zone or something like that.0 -

No. Only whisper / guild.
If you want to whisper a player on an enemy faction by name rather than @name you must put a , after their name.@Solar_Breeze
